Usually an Idea would randomly pop up, and I try to figure out how it would work. I then go and build the bot.

Usually I don't really go idea farming unless there's a tourney or I have a great bot idea that just pops into my head, in which case I write down a short (one-two sentence) description and hope I get around to making it.

I either gets a builder's block or not. Sometimes I get the general idea in school or I just go with a specific idea, sometimes I just roll a dice if I'm desperate for a bot.

Sometimes I have ideas I want to build, other times I scroll around at components for new ideas.  On occasion I might do some sketches to see how it will function, but for the most part it's trial and error in the bot lab, and test runs.  It's probably why my bot tend to evolve a lot.

Problems I tend to run into are usually those involving the physics engines, when I try to build with too much movable parts.

The only bot I really sat down and thought about how to build it in detail was warhead.  Though a lot of stuff got changed around during the building process anyway.

I  usually just get a vague idea of what I want my bot to be like. Then i go to the bot lab and mess around with it until I'm satisfied with the result. The only bot I completely planned out beforehand was Trinity.
im just waiting for meganerdbomb to come along and kick things into gear.

Hmmmm, I just sit there thinking of a good bot. Sometimes, nothing comes to me, so I go play another game. Sometimes an idea pops up in my head while im playing another game. Sometimes it just pops in my head while im thinking to myself....

Then Trial and error, as I build the bot.

I think of designs during the day all the time.  I would then, as soon as I could, try to build them on RA2.  They wouldn't always turn out quite right all the time though.

W/L (5-6)

NW: GTO (Lost in Wildcard Match), RAW 2: Nibbler + Death Defying Stunt (Lost in Round 1 of winner's and loser's brackets), NW2: Delta (Runner-up), CA: Hypno-Ant (Lost in Round 2), NW3: Blade Runner (Champion), IRL: Hyper Hazard (entered; not aiming to win this), WRL2: FTW (entered)
