Both were AIed, so it was a fair fight? I dont know why it wouldnt have been with both as AI...

If either of you did the matches, it wouldn't be even ground. The 'hoster' has the advantage of doing a rerun if the result isn't to his liking.

There needs to be a neutral person to do the honor of pitting bot A against bot B.

I found the dialogue at the end a bit unnecessary, but at least you guys have something now.

I agree with you. I would voulenteer, but I don't have Fraps or anything else. I can still host some fights if need be if you guys are alright with summaries and screen shots.

Yeah that was the most pathetic sh** I have ever seen, did you see the motors SPINNING out of my chassis during the fight with tankcat flipping around the whole time? That isn't how my bot behaves, someone must've messed it up... Either way, I'm calling bullsh** on that fight... Not saying InfiniteIntertia sabotaged my bot, but honestly that isn't how tankcat drives... I'm bet if InfiniteInertia sent me AC and I could fight with a tankcat I KNOW works, the results would be much different...

Most disappointing thing I've ever seen, honestly. To call that a fight is complete bullsh**, tankcat didn't look balanced OR ai'd, I'd like to see how tankcat looks with f12 on... my bot was completely balanced when I sent it, so someone must've messed with it.

EDIT: Actually now that I think about it, PLEASE send me a copy of AC. Honestly, if he beats tankcat that badly then at least let me see first hand.

I guess there only one way to settle this then there needs to be a neutral party to host the 1 on 1 match then there would be no speculation/excuses just one dominant winner:evil:

I'm curious if the whole "pause glitch" thing can cure the glitching of tankcat's motors, at least on a match-by-match basis.

They're glitching because uneven maces because you lost them . . .
 And LOL
"tankcat didn't look balanced OR ai'd, I'd like to see how tankcat looks with f12 on... my bot was completely balanced when I sent it, so someone must've messed with it."
You said you don't think Inf sabotaged it yet your saying he did. lol?

Look, tankcat. I have your bot as well, and I can tell you it has nowhere near the mobility a 36HS really needs. The wheels are too far below the chassis and too close together.

I can accept how you feel, but there's no reason Inf would have a need to cheat. You got beaten. Are you too stubborn to realize that you have been beaten, or do you accept it and you are just trying to be an ass?

Build a better one.
You got my vote for RA2 Wizard. Always and forever.

omg really? you think i have enough time in my life to ****ing record and restart every match that I lose? the one match when I lost a wheel and a WHOLE HP weapon motor at the beginning I still won in the end. I recorded 6 straight matches and only didnt include one because the recording was laggy. If you really think Im that much of a douchebag i will send you my bindings and the bindings YOU SENT ME for tankcat. all that i changed on tankcat was its heading because it was WRONG. and like sage said, wider drive on a 36 hs = faster. Not my fault you put all of your weight in one area. I paused before EVERY match so that all the maces weould be aligned perfectly on BOTH bots. THe only time i didnt was the one where i showed the intro/close up of both bots and i only recorded the intro, i didnt even let them fight after that. sure, i can show you 5 more matches WITH f12 on, but then you will just find something else to blame, other than yourself or the bot you put up against ol' AC. if you, or redline, really think this is bullsh**, I can send you my bindings and AC's, but if you record the matches I can guarantee youll wait all day till tankcat wins 5/200 matches and then puts them on a video. I put this video together in a total time of an hour 25 minutes, which included choosing music, splitting the videos into important segments, and creating the photoshop slides. I will send bindings to Sage, Reier, Cb, Madiaba, Pysc, SD, ANYONE who would do the fight just as fairly as I did.

With my reputation, did you really think I would CHEAT? because some fawking newb like you had the bravado to challenge me in the first place. Tankcat was a cakewalk for AC. Face it. Tankcat lost. Fair and square.

If you want further embarassment, Ill be happy to give it to you.

Enough, you guys.
TC, Inf's bot are very good, I use some of them for testing...

But, for the sake of ending this between you two:
AI your bots yourselves, and then find a neutral party to run a best 2/3 or 3/5 faceoff.
If this is not done (set up) by tomorrow eve, I'll close this thread....
(or if there's anymore crap posted)
.
Input is appreciated. :)

The two of you, fix your bots, AI them, and find somebody to host the match. Thats it, its that simple. No more whining, no more complaining, just get a neutral party to record the matches.

For once the mods did something right

I just want a copy of AC to see how close TC comes to beating it, I could care less about an official match at this point, no point in going through all the trouble to set it up if TC will most likely be beaten... I'm just tired of people saying TC got "raped" and et cetera, it really is a good little bot, unfortunately it didn't work well with the AI and I couldn't fix the drive because of the maces...

Also I wasn't accusing you, Infiniteinertia, of sabotaging or staging a win... I just wanted to be able to see it with my own eyes.

See now, that sounds completly reasonable. I will be the 1st to say that TC had little chance against AC. I for one would like to see how good of a fight TC can put up if everything is how it was when it was sent. I do not know how a new control was added, or how the maces became scrambled after he had them perfect. Its like sending a weaker kid into a fight with a broken arm. Chances are he would lose if in good health, but it would be a good fight. But instead it was a bloodbath. Think Rocky vs Apolo Creed haha. -

Reier has volunteered twice now and I'm on holidays now so plenty of time on my hands, full copy of fraps and experience/fairness from hosting/recording CC, CC2 and a RODE video(s) for tournaments

I say: name an arena and send your bot someones way and get inf to do it too and get a 2/3 battle so you can put an end to this

Who said I thought it was bullsh**? I personally think AC will keep winning. But you really need to lock out ALL possibilities of match fixing if you want to put the nail in the coffin.
