What parts did you use for the wheel guards?

What Badnik said.

Anyways, it would be more precise if larger and with Taz wheels. They might fail, but perfect for this.

And technically, this is the stock showcase but we are posting DSL bots ??
Been that way for some time, now. I think the only rule is that as long as it's a replica, it's in.

That's what I assumed. People started out making Replicas in Stock, then they just kinda switched over to DSL.

In some respects, it's both Stock and DSL reps that are posted regularly.

I think someone posted somewhere saying this was moved over from the old forums and the DSL one was left behind.

Ah. I was never part of the old forums, so I wouldn't have known.

I love making bots with little to no chassis.

That is both fantastic and awesome. And it used the ZORGANITE extenders. How does it move?

There's a wheel axle pointing downwards, with a DSL extender coming out of it.  Attached to that are the 2 drive motors.  The whole mechanism swivels when it turns, that's why the wheel looks lopsided in that pic.

Yes, I'll probably start focusing on making more robots for it.

Total falsehood since I made the thread on the old forums also. I think it's fine in the stock showcase anyway.

it belongs in the custom showcase but its one of the longest active threads on this forum so it would be silly to move it, everyone knows where it is and its not doing any harm.

now back on topic  :gawe:

nice rep sonny

another option for the chassis could have been BFEing it to only the baseplate (like I have done for some of mine in the past)

Could do with skinning some components, and it goes COMPLETELY to pot round the back XD
