Been that way for some time, now. I think the only rule is that as long as it's a replica, it's in.

That's what I assumed. People started out making Replicas in Stock, then they just kinda switched over to DSL.

There's a wheel axle pointing downwards, with a DSL extender coming out of it. Attached to that are the 2 drive motors. The whole mechanism swivels when it turns, that's why the wheel looks lopsided in that pic.

Total falsehood since I made the thread on the old forums also. I think it's fine in the stock showcase anyway.

it belongs in the custom showcase but its one of the longest active threads on this forum so it would be silly to move it, everyone knows where it is and its not doing any harm.

another option for the chassis could have been BFEing it to only the baseplate (like I have done for some of mine in the past)

not really, GMF edit or BFE some air tsanks onto it to cover those extenders and it will look mint.
