I REALLY love this one. <3

Could you pretty please put it on the bot exchange or something? I really want to get my hands on it :3

IMO one of the best you've done, from an all-round scale.

Is this going to be in one of your youtube tournaments or something?

Very nice. But would a pointy tip work better on the back than a pole spike?

IMO the pole spike's thinner so it looks more realistic

Manta.  It had interchangable weapons but I couldn't find a pic of it with the 3-toothed slasher blade that I used.  The skin was all hand-drawn in Paint, and NOT copy/pasted from the original.  I know I made some inaccuracies because I couldn't get the exact right shape, but well, still think it came out ok:

I've seen the 3-tooth slasher blade before, but I keep on thinking that was only on its Robotica/Battlebots version, Kritical Mass.

Sonny_Resetti, you remeber at the begininng of the thread you wanted to put these in an ai pack, but couldn't because of gmf problems?

i'll fix the gmf's, posibbly make a arena reskin, and someone can teach me how to ai without scared robots. Can you send me your sounds, components, arenas, and designs folder?

I've had several people offer to make the GMF's I need, they're working on it.  Once we get across those bridges then I can consider an AI pack.

Series 4 Version of Mortis-

Works just like the real thing- the Tanto is a custom component with normals removed, and is driven by an Overkill motor to simulate the "Hitting Three Times a Second" ability, whilst the arm is driven by a Lifter Motor. Armoured in 10mm Titanium, and runs on 4 Normal NPCs, with texture added to resemble the tracks.

For skinning bots, it can get frustrating using ms paint. Not all of us can afford photoshop. I found a program on the internet like photoshop but it is free. It works really well and is completely safe. Type in 'GIMP' on google. It stands for GNU image manipulating program.

Sewer Snake is a pretty good likeness, in my view. Nice work.

Mortis also looks very nice indeed. I might go with only one wheel doing the turning each way, to simulate the tracks a bit more. =P

Eh, don't really like it, maybe it's because of the flipper.

Glad you like it, mate- took me a little while to get everything in the right spot, but I think it came out alright   :approve:

Might be worth considering, actually, along with a reskin into its "Battlebots" form with a bit of practise- considering everything else works more or less perfectly, I might demonstrate its functionality to Click.
Then maybe with a little luck, he might use it as a base for a DSL3 Mortis rep   ;)

If he doesn't use a Dantomkia rep I will go cry in the corner =P

Also, is it me or does two weapons like that make it harder to Ai?
