Hey all,

Sorry I've fallen behind on posting my replicas here.  But I still want to share them, so, again, I apologize for this huge necrobump.

Here's Wedgehog, it's a little lightweight from the first wars.  It's got a very small axe; you can see the tip in my replica.  I applaud the team for their efforts to shape the body in a unique way.

Cataclysmic Variabot, or just CV if that's too much of a mouthful.  It's big, it's boxy, it's got a long axe.  It was made by university students.

Vector, a robot with lots of yellow X's and a flipping arm.  Thoguh its weapon was based on Biohazard, it failed in the first round.

Tracie, a box with spikes.  Tracie was a grand finalist in the first wars (1997).

Lol @ Crabmeat rep.

Crabmeat is a riot. Y'know, I never intended to do crabmeat... but back on the old Robot Arena forum I posted my replicas and offered for forum members to tell me what bots to make next.  Someone (I think it was Sage... But i might be wrong)  Told me to do Crabmeat and I think it was more of a joke suggestion because that bot is really pretty terrible IRL. I decided to try to make one anyways, and dang it was a PAIN!  At first i tried to make a small chassis and use extenders to make a cage around it like the real life Crabmeat bot.  In the end I had to make a Chassis that started small and had a large flat top... I angled the motors and wheels to give it the slope and Snapper-ed the heck out of a bunch of extenders to make it look like it had a frame.

The end product... yeah it's worth an Lol.

Edit... 100 posts woot.
Here is a vid of Crabmeat because I didn't have a good reference pic.

Gravity, a Dutch robot with an incredibly powerful flipper.  It's like Dantomkia on steroids, with a flipper whose power is matched only by that of Wheely Big Cheese

Velocirippa, a warthog-dinosaur relying on brute force.  What you see here is the earliest version of the robot.  The team still compete with Velocirippa today, but with a completely different version; this one was trashed in 2001 by Disco Inferno, who'd just begun to hit its stride.

My first replica. It's Sewer Snake. :D

I could've used Techno's wedges, but they're too darn big. :(

[Edit] Here's another one. This is Stinger. :D

If the rule of 7 was removed, I could've done Mechadon. :((

Nice!  Sewer Snake just needs a little longer fork on the top, so it can flip bots with it and do all that wacky tumbling that it does.

And if you put a counterweight on the back of Stinger, you might be able to make it flip like the real thing... though I've never had much luck with that.

That reminded me of the weighted smartzones, could use those to make the filp, but they also might end up making the bot to be point at the sky.

W00T!!! Remade Sewer Snake - now with Complete Control's arm! :D

As for Stinger though, those Astroflights can't do much. I can use E-teks but that would sacrifice its looks (and a bigger chassis).

[Edit] Trying to make Gemini right now, slightly having difficulty on angled shell placement. >.<
