That would help Jack, because you have some good skins.
I built that big robot on that TV show that time

Some more World Championship 2 replicas:

Flensburger Power, a German robot with a lance and two saws.  It's a pretty reliable design, even if it's not the most interesting

The Revolutionist, an American robot with a spinning body weapon, and some patriotic flags.  I'm sorry about the body being so shadowy, but it was like this from almost every angle, and wasn't any better outsides the bot lab.  Still, it's insanely destructive, just like the original.

I have never used it, but i hear that it is basically a stripped-down version of photoshop that does not have a lot of the complex editing tools available. (because it is aimed at general consumers)

I will write up a quick walkthrough on how i make a skin maybe this weekend. It depends how motivated I am & if i take off for the weekend.

be well all

The final 2 in my series of 2nd World Championship bots:

Diotoir, one of the more famous ones.  It's a heart-shaped robot with a lifting arm covered all over in red fur. If anyone's bored and good at making components, could you possibly do a fur component tht burns when exposed to fire?  It would make this robot a lot more accurate.

Yeborobo, a bot with an axe from South Africa.  I hates how such a simple shape was impossible in the game, what I settled for was a version with the lower panel sheared off.  It can self-right.

I agree... Very good job.
Input is appreciated. :)

Shredder, a robot that looks like a reel-to-reel tape deck.  Its two discs are potent weapons.

Shadow of Napalm, a wedge shaped bot with a creepy face and a bright orange hue.  Its weapon is a lifting arm tipped with a blade.  The best way I could find to re-create it gave it a sort of bucktoothed appearance, but I still think this was one of my better ones.

Sir Chromalot, a very shiny tire, with a a spirited team who was almost polished as their robot.  It's got a lifting arm for weaponry.  Just a joke entry for the most part, but arguably the best showmen in Robot Wars.

Aggrobot 1, the first of the three Aggrobots.  This one has some spikes, a tongue wedge, and a rear pneumatic piercer.  Very large in size, kind of feeble in terms of weaponry, but I like the deisgn and I think it looks pretty cool.  I couldn't get a decent still shot of this one, so here's a video of it in its fight against Razer.

I would also like to know how to get a hack like that, the fire one!
Damn I should probably put something fancy in this bit huh?

On Shredder, I noticed the blades are the wrong way.
Put this onto your signature if you were part of this crappy fad in '03.

Component skinning is easy, just go to the directory, and open the components folder.  Open the folder of the compnent you wish to skin, and open the folder marked "maps."  You'll see a bmp file that looks a lot like a robot's custom texture, and you can modify it in any picture editing program.

Also, more replicas:

Toecutter, a robot with a strange weapon, it's a blade that swipes across.  It also has some nice rollbars for staying on its feet.   I've found that it's actally a pretty good robot in hte game; the blade is mounted at just the right angle to rip off wheels from other opponents

Triterobot, a bizarre triangular robot with  a spike at each of its corners.  It's invertible, which is good, but it can't quite figure out whether it's a rammer or a sit-and-spin.
