A sprite is something that could potentially be used in a classic style game, usually 8 or 16bit. So no, that isn't really a sprite as much as it is a regular drawing done pixel-by-pixel.
(Used to be a big Sonic fan back in the day, spent plenty of time working with sprites.)

Awesome. Proportion wise the left hand should be much smaller to give the illusion of distance. Should be easily photo-shoppable though. if you shrink it a few notches I think it would make the picture all the more better. Right now the hand is the same size as the right one, which throws off the whole thing.

Edit... Doh! I just saw how both arms are angled back... hmmm my mistake. I really like your art Reier!

Thanks. It wasn't supposed to be really good in the first place. ;D I totally goofed up on his right leg (from his point of view). XD
