Can I just say to all the people that have said stuff like, "Oh, #3 looks, rubbish, the splash is terrible, the bot is not gonna win any battles, moan moan moan", I don't think your first BOTM entry was a world beater either was it? I've only just got on the site so I don't know how good the competition is.

Lol I thought 5 was WB because he had a bot with a similar name and bot type in his showcase.
I thought #1 was Hard Bot, and that #6 was Scourge.
Got the four others right though, Fracture's was a very easy guess due to the use of Pytosis in the splash.

There is a whole archive of BOTM's you could have looked through to gauge the competition. So not "knowing how good the competition is" is hardly an excuse.

I came across the "pink loading" effect back in 2009.. then basically I pushed it to the back of the bot lab and forgot about it..

I remembered it this past month so I decided to finally give it a shot at competition... all my reactions and investigations were legit, I knew nothing about how it works or anything.. I just took a guess at amount of batteries outputting at one time as its similar to ants in DSL..

So a potential building strategy 2 years in the making was beaten by a robot that vaguely resembles a giraffe... yay 

(all that said I still think NFX should have won.. even though I dont want his mitts on my records :P)

I still don't think the giraffe should have won. It might be slightly funny, but it's not built terribly well, and it's not even skinned well. As artbots go, it's a pretty bad one, I'm sorry.
