You see, after a while I've noticed there is some bot designs left to be discovered.

Recently we have had the Realistic Popup, the Side Popup and the Bottom Spinner arise. We also have new sub-sets of previous designs, like Servo Crawlers. My idea is simple, it's a splash competition.

Not BOTM, No. instead, you must try something new. A subset/bot type altogether. The bot may use anything, Cheat, DSL, vanilla... The whole point is to create something new.

The deadline is the 28th of november.

This is only the beginning...

ive been waiting for something like this to try my new type of robot.

dont know if it has already been dont but i havent seen it in any showcases yet nso lets hope it hasnt.

Heh, actually this sounds like a cool idea... I think Psycolone was trying to inspire us with a similar contest a couple months ago, but nobody really showed interest.

I will see what I can come up with. I hope Click pounces on this one too.

Your supposed to make a new bot type, or expand on a bot type built before.

Like make a new form of HS, or new spinner type altogether.

Already did that, see Backscratcher in my showcase.

I also tried to make a FHS Face Horizontal Spinner, that didnt beat even 0.01% of SCv4 bots so... Yeah! Prehaps the desing would be more effective in DSL?

How I did it was start making a normal HS, but instead of extenders and irons I pus Z-tek, disc and razors.

I don't know, I don't just tell myself, "Hey, I haven't come up with a new bot design in a while. I think I'll do that," and then go do it. New bot designs sort of just pop up at random, and you have to take advantage of them as they come up.

But if I think of anything, and if I have time to build it, I might enter.
