What video game worlds would you have liked to live in?
« on: October 30, 2012, 11:03:04 AM »
What video game worlds would you like to live in and why?

For me I've got five:

1. Pokemon (It's Pokemon no explanation needed)
2. Assassins Creed 2 or 3 (Going around killing guards in Italy or America would be the sh**)
3. Kingdom Hearts (Just wielding the Keyblade would be awesome)
4. Zelda: Wind Waker (The Great Sea is amazing looking and exploring islands would be so fun.)
5. Xenoblade Chronicles (Running around two giant robots backs =awesome)

Theres mine what yours.

Pokémon - as you say, no explanation needed!

The Sims - now this as an answer may sound weird, but I'd be interested in what goes on within the worlds/towns, such as Sims 3 with the story progression. I'd totally screw a female Sim if they wore stockings...

Spyro the Dragon - first of all, CLASSIC Spyro. Secondly, I like scenery and would love to get lost in the different worlds. Thirdly, no, I would not screw the dragons.

Burnout: Paradise - I'm a fan of Gumball 3000 and I think B:P is the best game to play Gumball 3000 from one corner of the map to the other, especially in multiplayer. So this is definitely one I'd want to live in.

1. Need for Speed: Most Wanted
2. GTA:SA (If you die, you always respawn. :P)
3. Pokémon (Well duh?)
4. Richard Burns Rally (Because Rally)
5: Half Life 2 (I actually don't know the reason... The place just looks kinda cool. And Mr. Freeman is epic.)

I agree. The places in the game are beautiful.

Asides from Pokemon, Mortal Kombat would be quite interesting. Watching the battle of Armageddon with popcorn.

I wouldn't really want to live in any of them. If I live in Burnout I'd die, I don't think I could raise a Pokemon, I wouldn't last 5 minutes in a game like Mass Effect or whatever and although I might be okay in a Mario series game I'd only like to be in one game.

Professor Layton. The people seem friendly in them and everyone likes puzzles.

Pokemon, same reasons as everyone else has given thus far.
Spyro, same reasons RC gave.
Ratchet & Clank, the first two or three games. I liked the technology that you got with them, along with all the various worlds you could travel to. Same kind of thing as Spyro, only more industrial.

I would like to live in video game worlds that were more vibrant, colourful and fun, rather than slathed in gritty browns and greys with mud and soil everywhere. I play video games to escape reality, rather than replicate it, so I'd want to live in video game worlds that followed the same principles.

Some realism would be nice. If I were to actually live in a game world I'd rather have something that doesn't alienate me on the spot. Still, colors and vibrant areas would be nice. Hence Okami I guess.

Anything that has sufficiently concentrated manliness, badassery and ham in it. Kinda like Dawn of War or Asura's Wrath.
