So what if you have a negative rating? Does it really matter? It's not you're gonna die if you have a "reputation" below 0. Note the quotation marks.

Remember, IT'S JUST A NUMBER. It's just like a post count. Having so much posts doesn't mean all of them have quality content.

1) hosting a tournament, making an AI pack, etc doesnt just gain you a score (this isnt a video game)

2) -1 does not make you hated it means one person gave you that (think back to those you have had altercations with.. there are a couple)

3) it would be worse if you were say +9 then became -1 after a day.. but you only went from 0 to -1.. so no biggie

4) as pwn said its just a number (at least people arnt spamming the plus and Minus's now)

5) I just gave you a +1 so you can be 0 and happy :P

I have to say, I've had some fun reading various posts in this thread since page 5. Especially Pwn's, he's got the general idea. It's a random number, it doesn't actually mean anything. If anything, it seems to have started more arguments about "Who's voting me down" and so forth, and guys voting back and forth to get each other out of the negatives. Seems like it's being abused a little bit, in my view, I'm not sure it's helping the forum along all that much.
