Anyone else play this?

I am getting back into it since my several hiatus (I was 11 when I first played, and I was really scared doing it).

Yesss I did.

I do remember what he said, about how paintball is for FPS loving freaks.

When I started paintball, I had not known about FPS games. Heck, the sport was invented before FPS games were made (originally paintball "markers" were used to mark trees to be chopped down).

there is a great one in my area run by wargames, so awesome I threw a smoke grenade into some guys face last time I was there xD

Never played paintball, always thought Airsoft looked more fun IMO, but it's banned in my country.

I've been paintballing once, and I think I had the full experience. Shot in the face, check (not that it counted, it just stained my mask pink and I couldn't see a damn thing), shot in the testicles, check, shot in the hand whilst walking off the field, check, shot in the ass, check lost the container of paintballs whilst running to cover, check. I think that is pretty much the whole experience, other than the paint grenades and the smoke grenades which I have yet to use/see.

smoke grenades belt a cloud of noxious fumes at you, it evaporates quickly but you'll have a coughing fit for a good few minuits after.
paint grenades = half an hour of stinging.

Basically summed up why I don't intend to go paintballing, pain isn't really my idea of fun...

This is exactly the reason why I never want to try Paintball.

I live about a mile away from a paintball place too.

Paintball gun tanks are also great on robots...
