Nostalgic TV Shows Thread
« on: February 14, 2010, 06:09:49 PM »
Since the Beyblade thread was posted, I thought, "what are some other TV shows were I familiar with as a kid? And what about you?

Here's one of mine, Cubix:

Cubix was a saturday-morning cartoon that aired on the Fox-Box before it became 4-kids TV. It was about this kid and his friends who had their own robots, one was Cubix, who could rearrange itself into different shapes or forms.

I remember once there was a commercial that said: "Cubix will go back into the Fox-box vault and never coming back!" in a cheery voice. That was a big f*ck you in the face to me.

What were your favorite shows as a kid?

A show lasting from August 11, 2001 to April 26, 2003 IS NOT nostalgic!

WMAC Masters; basically the same concept as the Mortal Kombat TV series, even had a handful of the same actors.  The first season was about teaching aesopian lessons to the kiddies, and the second revolved around a plot to take down the WMAC league from the inside.

Now, I hated Cubix (It was shown on CN sometime ago) but damn, that IS one hell of a FU.

Of ACAMS' list I've only seen Pink Panther. Good times.
Watched clips of The Critic. Too awesome.
