Lurking
« on: March 22, 2010, 07:55:02 AM »
I haven't seen another thread like this. Say how long you lurked for, when, and any observations.

I lurked for at least a month before joining. From what I read, I considered Nary a jerk, LDL a jerk, and Nicsan, 40757 and TriTon to be the same person. I was critisized by Nary on YT. I survived and registered.
My above post explains everything about everything.

Found the forums back in November '08.  Didn't spend much time there.  In March, I downloaded DSL and started lurking, mostly viewing DSL showcases and some other stuff.

I lurked for three months, and mainly because:
1. I prefer to leave a good first impression when I introduce myself
2. Infiniteinertia
Tournament Record: 94 Wins - 50 Losses
Challenge Record: 2 Wins - 2 Losses

I lurked for a year almost always in the front page and download section then I registered, posted then lurked again till I found my fail post (which was almost another year if I remember right) and then i started to post after then.

Is taking one challenge request. First come first serve. I'm a bit rusty now but I'm going to try and crank something out for this. MW and up no glitches DSL or Stock.

...yup
AAAANYWAAAYS

I've lurked for a loong time cause a few months after I joined (2007 and I was a lurker at the time), the forum changed (its host was "wizforum" or something) and I couldn't find this account anymore. I decided to make another account after I met infiniteinertia on multiplayer and he told me it would be a good idea. After that I re-joined as "Overload" on the wizforum and lurked for a while again, I made a showcase and got critiziced by someone, after that I decided to lurk for a while longer (I also uploaded bots into the old bot exchange). Eventually the forum changed again, this old account showed up again so I continued using it and lurked for a few more months. Then I made my DSL Showcase and here I am.

All of that happened in under the period of three and a half years =P

I wish we still HAD the dark skin. The light one drains my cell battery. It also gives me eye strain. Which gives me headaches. Which lead to migraines. And then I puke. I have seriously puked at least twice probably about 3 times from just being on GTM too long.
I built that big robot on that TV show that time

I lurked since like July 08. I remember believing that everyone played DSL and stock was gay. I stopped lurking in September 08 and then came back again early last year. I got over my "stock is gay" belief after watching BBEANS 5 and tried to become good at it after I got bored in DSL. I eventually tried to get good in DSL too.
