Nintendo could have saved themselves by making a PROPER 2D Metroid, but no, we got Other M, the most disappointing game on Wii.

other M was a great concept... I loved it and so did a lot of people.

I felt that it failed because of the visor switching and how you couldn't move properly in 3D. On top of that, you had the recurring bosses (Nightmare was okay in that respect, and a nice throwback/forward to Metroid Fusion), the health regeneration system (pointless, the old system was perfect), moments where you couldn't use an ability because you were standing in the wrong place (the next time a have to save someone from a beetle Adam Malcovitch won't be there; interpret how you will). And then you have Samus just brooding in her speech, rather than just letting you get on with the game.

It just had so many pointless additions and poor pacing that I can't like it, sorry. Plus it killed most of the lonely atmosphere of Prime 1 & 2, which gave those games a sense of real size.

Because SSBB, Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, Super Mario Sunshine, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime, and the 3DS are obviously terrible and are made by a joke company.

SSBB was a good game, but hardly saves the Wii. Every other game on the Wii, especially Mario and Kirby games, I cannot play. I'm not a fan of Link either. The Wii has one good game, in my opinion.

And think about it. The gamecube was alright, the N64 was brilliant (I never had one, but look at all the classic games it had!) and the Gameboy Advance is, IMO, the best handheld gaming device ever. Brilliant Pokemon games, some games that weren't
A; Mario/Link/Annoying steriotypical Nintendo character
B; A gimmick

I mean, the graphics weren't any good, but I had much more fun on a gameboy than I have had on my DS. hell, even my iPod is more fun than a DS, and it only has 1 small screen and is mainly made for music.

But, as always, these are just my opinions.

I liked the GBA as well. I also liked the DS a lot. Well, the old DS which still has the GBA slot. Got a load of fun out of it.
3DS... Only really been playing old DS games on it using my Acekard and that's it. I have yet to find a game on that thing that will actually please me. And I don't want to typical Mario/Zelda/whatevermorethereis because those get boring tooo fast.

That's one to look out for yes. And there will be Medarot 3D, but probably only in Japan, so I'll have to wait till 3DS games have been cracked or Nintendo decides to become smart and remove the region lock.
