Slavery has been around since the discovery of the New World by Columbus in 1493, but the major part of it was between the 16th and 19th century, where slaves were taken from Africa to southern America (mainly to Brazil). About 9.4-12 million slaves were deported this way.

and while i do hate that this happened WHY IS IT STILL AN EXCUSE!!!!!!!! i got in to more street fights with blacks then anyone eles. and the most Im laid back and unracist guy i know. 6 times my room mate and i had our door kicked in by blak guys trying to rob us. lol for some reason they always turn and run when 2 rednecks pull 12 gauge shotguns from under the chairs.

ACAMS, most of the black people in America are here because of slave trade.

If I remember well, there are more Blacks in the southern states... old esclavagist states.

If you think a little bigger and deeper, 'slavery' is just one form of "getting others to work freely for one's own benefit". It is wrong, no matter its form.
So, people using others' labor and hard-earned income(and taxes taken from their wages), in order to freely exploit and benefit for themselves, is no different than slavery. Got someone to freely work for me, is slavery. Thus the social leeches are exploiting free labor from we workers. We work for them as free labor (slaves).
