Mine is self-explanatory, it comes from Animal Crossing. Mr Resetti's first name is Sonny, and  not many people know that/care.

Old video game from the '80's, SPY HUNTER. (Geez, am I dating myself .....?)  Whenever I managed a place in the top ten, I would always put in "SPY" as my initials.  "SPY" became "SpyGuy", and the rest, as they say, is history .....

1492 to 2008 = 2000 years

The declaration of independence was signed in 1776. so actually so actually it is only 232 years.

The continent is just as old as the others.

Bump - thanks to the link Nar put in DKs thread.

If anybody still has storys about how they got their names, I think they should be put here from now on.

Anyway, I called myself Weirdo because:- I've been called one; the name suits; and its its contradictory, because everyone calls me 'the normal one'. But there's no such thing as 'normal'.

@ Flying_Chao: Um, jah. If you're STILL wondering. Everybody in fact came from Africa, english people, americans, everyone. So yeah, I hope I cleared that up, and ended nearly a year or so of panicing over who created who.
Good evening.

S32 is more right.

My name came from my name. My name is Craig. People tend to stretch it out. And I was bored of my boring name so I wanted to change it so I chucked the 'a' in that everybody was saying.
