Without RA2, the forum dies. Without the forum, RA2 dies.

And if we started to attract people of another game, people would come for that, less would come for RA2, many experienced members would leave because they "hate the direction the forum is heading in", and the RA2 forums would either move or die completely.

We don't need more members, we need less stupid ones.

Agree with this 100%

Okay, simple little observation.

Why does everyone do piggyback posts now? Prime example would be the two above posts; just quoting a post that you agree with and or saying
"I agree with X". Probably doesn't matter much, buts its been irking me for some time now.

I think it's the "Quoted For Truth" rule, if more and more people agree with something, then it eventually becomes fact. Which is wrong in and of itself, facts are only correct for the data that we have. The moment we find something that disproves it, it's no longer a fact.

There are always going to be people making excellent posts which state a valid point, and there are always going to be people quoting it and saying "QFT" with very little elaboration, but most of the time that's simply because the previous post had already explained everything so well. It's just a way of showing approval of it, I guess.

your saying introduce other games because RA2 is dieing, right?

would that kill it off faster by reducing the activity in the RA2 sections?

NONONO! If you read it again and take note of what I'm saying, you'll realise that I am solving the problem put forward. Playground is getting too crowded because they are otherwise restricted to RA2. This could be remedied by taking the most popular subject and forming into another main interest of GTM, and thus spreading out the problem! :P

Yeah, Somebody pretty much hit the nail on the head right there, I'm afraid. A second game would only split the forum even more, and I'm pretty sure no-one would want that to happen.

If I honestly tried to explain my viewpoint or elaborate any further, my post would still have been exactly the same. I'm not from the redundancy department of redundancy here...

Besides, this is off topic so nothing posted here really matters.
