I haven't broke a bone yet

But I have gotten foot size bruises on my hip from skateboarding, and many bruises on my ankles/shins

I gave up skateboarding because of the injuries ... it wasn't that I was bad at it but...

I used to go to my local skate park everyday and one fall in particular was: I was doing a combination of stuff over a few ramps in succession and went up the quarter pipe at a high rate of speed came back down and would you know it some kid on a bike stopped right in front of the pipe .... I found his back wheel before I could finish my curse word lol and ended up sliding a few meters across concrete XD

basically the park became way too populated with younger kids on bikes and kids just using the ramps as slides (even though the playground was next to it :P) I basically lost interest from then on.

My uncle got flattened by a steamroller. Both his legs were crushed like a pancake.

could not bend his knees without being in pain for a year.

a few years later he can walk like any other person.

@ACAMS, S32 and HX: Damn.

Thanks you reminded me of my other sorta major injury. When I was 4 I put my pinky in the AC, it was stuck there so everytime I pull it, skin would peel, I have a scar there now.

Heheh, leave it to me to help you remember your worst moments.

S32, I would say yes! Just look at his posts! He even turned this into a competion too!

The worst 2 things that happened to me are:
1. When I was at school, I was practising being a soccer goalkeeper and my classmate was doing the kicks. He hit me in the face and blood ran out of my nose for almost 5 or so minutes, until it finally stopped.

2. Also when at school, but 4 or 5 years after the previous one. We were playing baseball on sports class(or what ever that is called). I was at 1st base's backup as one of the catchers and the ball went all the way to the last catcher on the field and he threw it back. To me it seemed like he threw it at 2nd base, so I turned away from the ball, but it hit me straight in the head. When I felt it I dint notice myself losing consisuness at all, but i must have because I was in a bowing position and the ball was rolling at the other end of the field. Nothing too serious, only a huge headache and a big bumb on my head for a few days. Oh, you should also know that I was wearng only a cap on my head, I have seen in some baseball games that they have helmets, but not in our school.

That reminds me. Not exactly "grievous" but I got hit in the groin by one of those cannonballs of a shot. Kept standing and such. Only felt it a few seconds later but it wasn't so bad.

Was practicing in the snow, and most of the field was covered with ice. note: coach is a nazi. Anyway we go on playing a 4v4 drill. As i'm defending an oncoming striker i extend my leg out in the air to deflect what i thought would be a soft chip. What I didn't know was my other foot was on solid piece of ice. So with my luck I am sliding closer and close to the ball when it goes right passed my foot and goes straight into my groin. I proceed to fall on the ground scrapping up my legs whilst sliding across the iced turf. Good Times.

I just remembered. I have been to a surgery when I was a baby. I dont remember anything about it, but mom told me a few years ago:

I had to go to a surgery because I had Water testicle(blame google translator if thats wrong)
My left testicle was all blue and the size of an adult fist! It was over with just one operation, but I had to stay in the hospital for a few weeks.

Well, since you brought up surgery as a baby, I had to have a kidney removed within weeks, maybe even days or even hours after birth. I forget.

Maybe you don't feel the same way, it's what ever but it's different than  talking about robots so I find it interesting:-D

I once had molten bronze poured into the hollow of my clavicle while casting a small bird sculpture.
Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness!

Damnn... all these stories sound pretty serious, anyway, here's my list of bodily harm...

So when i was something like 4 I was playing in the kitchen, when suddenly I saw a nice fat wire hanging from the tabletop (I could not see what it was, so I decided to pull it down). It turned out that "it" was a electric kettle filled with boiling water... Luckily I had no burns from the water, but I fractured my skull with the ceramic kettle.

A few months later I had broken my toy and started crying about this. So my father decided to buy some super glue to fix it. One mistake he made was that he left the glue on the table and than he left the house for a while... Later when he came back, he noticed my arms and hands all covered up in this glue.   The peeling off, of this glue was nothing compared to the excruciating pain caused by torn out pieces of skin (The glue held ****ing well).

A year after that I was biking down a hill in a park, when suddenly I saw something interesting on the floor. I stopped and picked it up and figured it was some kind of control board (My father said it was a TV tuner control board). So I mounted the new "device" onto my handlebar (using some string found on the ground as well) and started biking ****ing fast. To me this "device" was some kind of anti-collision computer (YES I had a wild imagination ;p), so I screamed as loud as I could "Dad check this out, I can bike with my eyes closed and not hit anything!1!1111one" and before my dad could explain to me how much of a dumb**** I am, I rammed into a concrete rubbish bin, flew over it, rolled down the steep hill and crashed into a tree, just to be later hit by the falling bike... One word... OUCH!

In the very same year I had another accident, this time I wanted to climb up the stairs, but than from behind... this attempt ended with me on the floor, unable to breathe (the fall ****ed up my lung) with permanent spine damage (a.k.a. It's S-shaped till this day)... Once again I was lucky, as my mother knew what to do when some idiot like me could not breathe (otherwise I would have suffocated :/)

When I was 12 me and my friend decided to pretend that we were Mages from WoW... and so I picked up a pair of gloves, poured some BBQ lighter fuel on them and lit them on fire (did the same thing with a tennis ball we found) I was pretending to cast a Fireball when suddenly I noticed that the gloves contained plastic (!!!!) and this same plastic began to slowly melt, burning my hands. After a while of running around with my hands on fire, we finally managed to put it out using a shovel, a blanket and the ground. (Funny thing is that all of this happened in my garden at 12 in the night, with my parents sitting in the living room right next to the terrace window ;p)

Now a more recent accident... Just a few days ago I was skateboarding and trying to do a simple shove-it over a gap. Right after I ollie'd over some small obstacle, I noticed that there was something in my way (some random bump on the ground) but failed to act fast enough. So I flew off my board and right down the big ass gap. For a moment I was flying in the superman position, and than I did the stupidest thing I could. I stretched out my arms (instinct :/) the skin on my hands peeled off quite quickly and left me with two big "jesus-hand bruises". It's actually pretty funny, because now I look like I was hanged on some cross or some sh** like that ;p

P.S. I also forgot to add one more accident...

So when I was 6 my father was working on rebuilding our small yacht, and I was ****ing bored. So I begged him to give me some nails and a hammer so I could play around. He warned me that I will massacre myself, but I ignored his prophecy. I started smashing the nails in as hard as I could, than I decided to increase the speed at which I did this, when the hammer slipped off the nail and hit me right in the thumb (full speed, full power :/). This also happened a few years ago when I was trying to hammer a pipe into the ground, and my thumb (same one) slipped into the pipe and right under the hammer... my nail came off nice and clean, and there was a decent amount of blood all over the place ;p

P.P.S.

Once I was play fighting with my dad, and I smashed him with my fist (full power) into his elbow... had three fractured fingers on my left hand, and a fractured "palm bone"... it sucked as I only noticed that something was wrong after two weeks, when the bone started to heal (had to get it broken by the doctor to make it heal well)

There... now you know the story of my FAILfull life ^^

EDIT: Forgot to mention the time I inserted the alligator clamps (Do not ask me how I did this ;p) of a voltmeter into the electrical socket ;p

um... tatoos and piercings are a controlled bodily harm I guess?  To some... they can be quite painful.  My naval piercing wasn't very painful... but it took damn forever to heal.  I will never forget the odd "squick!" noise the needle made when it went through the skin. That was kinda gross.

Ummm... I have some but It's not that bad.

I was at the Vans Skate park. It was too crowded and people were taking all the good ramps. After I got pissed enough I decided to just go, I didn't care if there was anybody else. After 5 seconds of skating around in my pissed off mood, some guy in the middle of grinding a rail goes down the ramp right after it. We collide, and the other person that collided with me was about 25 years old, and I... was about 9... so I got hit pretty hard.

I'll post more later.
