Some are. Mainly they seem to be scavengers, but can feed on slow live prey.

Last night I dreamt I took part in the fourth series of Robot Wars. I got to the Semi-Finals, and then lost to Mortis.

Yeah, it was actually this one:

I flipped Mortis over a couple of times, and almost got him OOTA, but Mortis made lots of holes in the top of my bot. Went to the judges, and I lost. =D

Yeah. Probably my crap driving, though. I can remember in the first round, launching one half of Gemini right across the arena, and then it bounced OOTA. I had the other half chasing me for the rest of the match. Oddly, the third competitor in that match was Minesweeper, and SSG was actually doing quite well.
