Everyone is overreacting about roleplaying. Some of my views have changed, though. After a talk with SD over Xbox live, my views have changed. I still am for keeping roleplaying, but some of the threads barely continue. AoR's "Lego RP" thread didn't make it past one page. If you are making an RP thread, continue it, or delete it.

This forum will not die. It will not be taken over my RPs; it will not change! Why are you worrying about this forum dying?

This forum is about a bargain bin game. You should be glad that there is a community in the first place. We will cross the "ZOMG! THE FORUM IS GOING TO DIE!!11" bridge when we get to it.

As for RPs; ignore them! Do what NFX or anyone else does. I sometimes join in with them but you don't have to! Focus on RA2 if you are that worried. RPs are only a bit of fun. Yes, lots of them may be appearing lately but it's not going to affect RA2!

tl;dr don't worry! It won't be "da apokilipss" and this forum won't die just because of a few RPs. Just remember one thing: why are we all here? Because we all share a love of robotic combat! Now, stop moaning and carry on with what we love to do!

if your gonna RP, do it on a proper RP forum where the RP's have rules to keep it proper. i am a RPer myself, but never joined in with the RP's on GTM because it is all one big mess. and an overload of Powerplaying.

those who want to join an RP forum, pleeeeaaasssseeee join my forum and help it get more active. i seriously don't want it to die.
SotG used to be active there, but now i am clearly the most active admin there. i always kept the rules high tho. so i'll be ok.

Powerplaying was indeed a problem I've been noticing during various points in Story Time.
Now I know what you're thinking- "But this is coming from GF93, he's one of the leading powers therefore must be powerplaying to some extent at least".
To put it lightly, my character is powerful in the story, right?
 
Well, sure he's powerful, but he doesn't always win. He's not the invincible, all-conquering messiah that some tend to see him as. Several times, he's been grievously wounded, and even almost died a couple of times. That may lean towards the powerplaying argument, but there's always been a good explanation as to how he does what he does, what he is capable of, and how it's possible for him to do it.
 
It's also taken time for him to get where he is now in the story, starting with what was first a little kid and some robots in a spaceship. Humble beginnings, but through fair play, worked his way up to become one of the main forces in the Story. It's a simular instance with quite a few of my friends.
 
In closing, there's nothing wrong with being powerful, but it's got to have some degree of logic and reason to it, as opposed to pulling powers out of your ass and expecting to get away with it all the time.

Oh. I thought you were referring to the time when you had all those symptoms and the Drones had to react accordingly.

Story Time GF93 almost died of blood loss after getting attacked by a claw-wielding scout in the Diotoir's pool room. Although, judging by the way the thread is going, I may consider killing him at some point.
