Bristol meet up is still a good idea if you ask me. Wales -> Bristol is easy. Plymouth -> Bristol is easy. Where Me/Marty and Ty4er all live -> Bristol is easy. (':

I don't think it's logical to have 1 big meetup, because it's always gonna be way too far for a lot of people if you do it centrally. Cornwall to Northampton won't be a comfortable journey.

I think that makes more sense. Then if people want to travel further to meet the others at another meetup, they can make their way there.

I'd take a plane, because I get reduced plane prices and a guide between stops :3

Yeah, if one tech person is assigned to a meeting, then they can bring a laptop and webcam, then the meetings can talk to eachother. There could be one for each area - Scotland, South-West, Central, etc.

Yeah, there could be a Northampton, a Bristol, and a Glasgow meet. That seems to cover everybody as my map is concerned.

Right, so, it's been ages since this has been talked about, but since the summer holidays are coming up soon, it wouldn't hurt to try for this again. Me and VEVO were thinking of just meeting up at some place near to the both of us (I'm going to learn to drive soon, and a meeting point between us would be about an hour away). It would most likely be Bletchley, which is a 20 min train journey for him, and a 1 hour drive for me. If we arrange this, others can come if they wish to travel to as far as Bletchley from where they live.

Jump on a plane to Bristol. I'd get the train up. Fun times would be had. :3

Thyrus isn't British though so he's gonna have to be booted off the plane mid-flight.
