I've been a member on GTM for exactly 370 days now, and I have to say that I'm not at all getting tired of this place :P
Its great to have such a community of people here all because of a game that should have been long forgotten about by now. In some ways its just not credible. When I joined GTM I had played RA2 for several years, and I was getting a little bored of it, but what makes the game great is Gametechmods. Yeah I'm getting obsessed with Angry Birds now, but a place like this is what that game lacks is a community. Yeah its a better game (far better in the worldwide view), but what we have on here keeps this game fresh, tournaments coming out of every hole in the forum where we test our bots against each other, an active showcase section where we share all our designs. New mods under progress which will be the subject of the year when they are released. Its this that keeps this game fresh, tell me another community like this.
I'd like to thank all of you on here, for making this community what it is (well, almost all of you :P). Special mentions go to ACAMS, thanks for all the work you put into keeping this place running, you really don't get enough credit for it. Joe and Click for all the work you're both putting into making an entirely new MOD to keep us entertained, I'm sure both will be excellent when finished. Other thanks go to GK, S_M, NFX, marty, Craaig, Thyrus, Badnik, GF93, KM, gazea, Scorps, Somebody, Thyrus, everyone who has supported RA2TC and SkAI High, and pretty much anyone who has contributed to this place :D
