Jonzu has challenged me to an 'Epic Showdown' style tournament to 'Prove that he is the newcomer of 2009'. I've accepted the challenge, I have no trouble with it. I'll be filming. General Rules apply. We're doing Stock and DSL LW, MW and HW. I'll ask Jonzu for his entries when all of mine are built (Just 1 to go). So yeah, just telling the public that this will be occurring in the near future.

Matches are 2/3
Arena is BBEANS v2
General Realistic Rules for DSL apply
Stock building as normal
No BFE, AAM or ZeroG
General Havok rules apply

you know, i think there should be a general hosting for showdowns and grudge matches on this forum. i think it could become quite popular.

still I have really started something with this epic showdown but a prize of Best Newcomer 2009 umm cant really be...

you would have to have an open tournament to all users who joined in 2009 to be fair

Reier never doubted you ability but perhaps your looking over the others a bit to much ?

its good that your proud of yourself I guess, but look at the level Pwn, Ounce and 123 are on ?

I dont doubt GK as a top member and he contributes so much to the community but Nov 22 seems a little late to be best newcomer of 2009 (sorry GK, its the same as my join date being to close to 2008)

One thing is true that I'm jealous to G.K. he has more respect than me. He can help others, I cant! I am able to use internet with computer only 1 hour after school and weekends! (if I go to my dads home...) but good thing is that I am able to come internet with my phone.

why the need for jealousy ?

I dont do everything I do for the sake of a little number on my Wiki Page, I do it to have fun, I help others so as I can share the fun I have, if modding isn't your thing just have fun with what others create as that is there intention

if you want to learn yourself there are plenty (including GK) that are happy to help you out.. we have loads of members who only visit weekends (I dont know what GK's secret to online amount is)

I don't think that's the prize, there isn't one.

Epic Showdown was an invite only tournament I made as I wanted Pwn, Ounce to fight Naryar

(I just let them select the rules) Craaigs tournament was a parody on that name but

sounds it should be grudge match.. Epic Showdown was the tournament name not the name of a match type :P I was planning on bringing it back actually larger with other competitive rivalries (a lot involve Nar :P)

all is pretty much in order here aside from you need to list some rules so we all know the go and the format (best 2 out of 3, arena, etc)

grudge matches, most of the times they are pretty good. maybe we should use this topic to organise grudge matches and all. i know i kinda said it before, but it's just a good idea imo. people will always want to fight a certain person for some reason (like having lost to that person in a tournament or just ended up in a conflict). can also be just a challenge for kicks. just saying, this could become big.
