You can basically use this tournament for Cruiserweights you wanted to use in GTMRW but couldn't because it filled so fast.

I am very impressed with the comprehensiveness of your first tournament thread. I hope this goes well, as you seem to have been picking things up well.

Looking pretty good my dude, except you can only have a max of 16 entrants for your first tournament. Hopefully you can get it filled up quickly and you won't have any issues.

Bit frustrating to me that you're doing CW so close to mine but hey ho.
Are you allowing BFE? I'm personally probably out if both BFE and CF are banned.

Same as Craaig, regarding BFE and CF

I tell you what, this tournament has some great potential. The tournament can only have 16 entries, though, as everyone said as this is your first tournament.

Hope the tournament goes well for you! :)

Edited for 16 entries and information on BFE.

Edit: BFE wasn't added at first for some reason.
Added it under rules and allowed CF

Edited information on BFE.
Where?

Btw, it might be in your best interest to allow component freedom, as this is IRL, so people won't exactly use it for a competitive advantage.

the arena could probably use a better skin

We have a new logo and arena skin courtesy of Dragonsteincole.

Also, if you haven't seen, BFE and CF have been allowed.

I've also, disallowed SnS bots.

DSL means DSL kix, not DSL plus whatever components you want to add. They're not balanced for DSL.

Trying to listen to members with far more building experience than yourself may be a good place to start. Just saying. It may not work, it doesn't mean you couldn't try and make it work within the ruleset given.

considering people have done it before i would say it does work.

This is now a signups topic and the rules quoted may not change. You've got 3 months, enjoy :)

I might as well enter this with the same bot I built for GTM Robot Wars. Maybe I'll see if I can figure out a couple of modular weapons options. It won't be AIed though, as like wrhysj, I don't know how :P

Saying this just feels redundant.  But when you start something, you have to finish it.  It'll just feel awkward otherwise.

Having received 3 entries almost simultaneously, I'm going to have a 3 way rumble.

But for now, Sign-ups are closed.

Question: Do I post the rumble here or at the SBV?
Title: Re: Wild Card Rally - Signups

SBV thread is preferred

And not just for the rumble, but for everything - after sign-ups
