I made a poll for the format of series 2. you can decide if you want the regular Total Annihilation system:
16 Bot bracket:
Each heat starts as a 4 way melee. The first bot that gets KOed, immobilized, flipped OOTA or has the fewest points after the 3 minutes match time is up is pulled out and the fight gets restarted in a different arena with the 3 bots remaining. The last bot standing goes to round 2. In this case round 2 is the final since I plan to allow 16 entrants.
If a bot havoks in it`s own favor, the match will be restarted. If the same bot havoks again in it`s own favor it will be eleminated.
Special Rule:
NFX gets a free place in this since he won the first season. He(1) and the other 3 grand finalists (Craaig(2), MartyMidget(3) and Vertigo(4)) are seeded and won`t be in the same heats. Only NFX gets a reserve spot.

31 Bot bracket:
1v1 eleminators in the bigining. The winning bot moves on tho the main tournament wich then will be like the 16 bot bracket. This allows more users to enter the tournament but on the downside only half the bots can perform in the mainbracket.
Special Rule:
NFX does not have to fight in a qualifying match since he won season 1. The other grand finalsists of series 1 won`t fight each other in the qualifyers nor (this includes NFX aswell) in the first round of the main tournament.
only NFX gets a reserve spot.
If the the poll goes for the 31 bot tourney I will enter too. If it goes for the 16 bots I will not enter.

I`ll type the 6 arenas in and take the top 3 since there are just 3 fights in one "heat")
The Arenas are:
DSL Tourney, Kenzorg IGC, Lu-Tze's RA2t#2 , Serges Ring Arena, Clicks BBEANS v2 arena and !NEW! the Electric Arena 2 if I can skin it in a good lokking way
Draw will be done by a randomizer (http://www.random.org/lists/ (http://www.random.org/lists/))

you can update your bot once after sending it. This does not mean you can send a bot as placeholder to have a save spot. Update must be made on the original bot that has been sendet or a rebuild of it.
empty spaces will be filled with byebots.
This time I will only allow the first 16 robots to enter. No Wildcard matches.
Please AI your bots. If you don't know how to do it I'll AI them by copy pasteing from fitting bot types.
Free places will be filled by byebots. Those will be some robots of season 1 that have lost in the first round
