I'd like to give hosting another shot. Here's a concept:
16 entrants
Stock LW
IRL
HAX Mode Banned
No modifications outside of the game
Meltybrain and crawlers banned
One havok restart per match, after that, it's a forfeit.
Upgrades: You may make unlimited upgrades that DO NOT CHANGE THE AI. YOU MAY ONLY CHANGE YOUR AI ONCE. MAKE IT COUNT.
The gimmick: This will be run KotH style (BO1, winner keeps fighting, most wins, well... wins).
5 rounds will be run, with everyone fighting once per round.
Seed will be determined by how fast you can kill some kind of SFTW. The current king will go first after round 1, followed in order of the least kills to the most.
Arena: Starts as combat zone, no hazards. after 1 round, it's the king's choice, of any arena they want (as long as it works and is skinned appropriately).
I will NOT be entering unless there are less than 8 people who enter at the end of the deadline.

hmm. i'd say stock. it's been a while since we had a stock IRL tourney.
the first irl tourney was stock, IIRC ? I think Ribbs hosted it.

If you're going for IRL I don't see why RA2CF should be banned, every other IRL tournament allows it. If this ends up being stock, then unless you're going for a noob wars esque look, everything is going to be terrible if you ban RA2CF.

Yeah that's another thing, you can't do as much in stock for the same weight. I think MW (or even CW) would make stock better for IRL. Host's choice tho

Hm. What I meant by that was actually the IRL rule depends on what mode, but if you guys wanna see stock IRL, I could oblige that if you want.

Basically, the tournament starts with a 1v1 in the combat arena. then, the KOTH thing means that if you win, you remain fighting and get to pick the arena the next fight is in and get a random opponent.

As long as it could be built in real life, it follows the IRL (In Real Life) rule. It's fairly strange what works where, send me the bot and I'll tell you!

As dumb as it is (and it has been revealed that TGM's old entry is unusable, too) I'd have to disqualify you. But I doubt it will come to that. :P

Ok. An interesting problem: I technically have closed signups, but haven't made the splash. Mechadino sent his entry today. So...
I don't know whether to accept. I've been told it would be okay if I did, but I want your guys' opinion. So then, I've made a poll. You have one day to vote on whether I should accept mecha, before I make the splash tomorrow. If it's a tie, I'll accept. So go forth!

My entry is a semi-poorly made tombstone clone named "every irl bot ever". It's a joke. I'm not entirely sure what you're getting at here.
