It's done!  Great job one and all.  Here are your champions...
 
090901's team World War 2 came out on top. 
Ogre's team The Ogre's Lair a close second place. 
Loser's Bracket champion is Naryar with Call of the Wild.
Second place of the Loser's bracket is S.T.C. with Anonymous.
 
090901 gets the froonium plow and froonium spike, now legal for him in any future tournament I may run.  He also get automatic entry into my next.
 
Ogre, coming in second, will get his choice of the plow or spike.  I'll find out his choice next time I see him.

Best built team: So hard to choose.  I'm gonna say Team Uncia (RU: Team Pwn)
Best team theme: Freezepops (theme: Closest to being built in real life, so there). (RU: TTTTMTB: Theme of quick builds) (honorable, no score, mention of False Advertisement)
Darwin Award: Occult Sigil counted out 1/2 a second before time ran out. (RU: V=IR for launching off Scrapper Turshery OOTA)
Eye of the Tiger: Freezepops (Wedgie, 'nuff said) (RU: Ogre's Lair.)

Should there be a future sequel to SOTF? I'd like to do one, but definately need a break first lol.  Next one will probably have some variety.  Thinking a team weight limit that you can distribute however you want. But you must have at least 2 bots.  Something.  I don't know, i'll think it up later.

Hey, my team has a theme.  They're all beetles (hence the name Coleoptera.)  Though I suppose it might not be obvious.


Flee Beetle is named after the flea beetle, which is a tiny, jumping leaf beetle.  Kheper is the Egyptian word for Scarab.  I named Kheper after the scarab because it looks vaguely scaraby and the saw arm is kind of like the sun's movement across the sky, which the Egyptians represented by scarab beetles.  And Gigawhirl is a kind of anagram of Whirligig, as in the whirligig beetle.  Good name for a spinner.

Hey, my team has a theme.  They're all beetles (hence the name Coleoptera.)  Though I suppose it might not be obvious.

There were a few 'hidden themes' it seems.  Sometimes you gotta look harder.  Mine was just in your face. lol
