Title: The Best Bot Builder!

It's here everyone! The Best Bot Builder is open!

Here are the rules:

Rules:
1. This will be DSL (Nar A.I) and Stock HW.
2. There will be a stock winner and DSL winner.
3. This will be Stock VS Stock and DSL VS DSL.
4. The end result will be posted as a table, like BBEANS.
5. No BFE, AAM or ZeroG. All building must be done within the bot lab.
6. You may skin your bot outside of RA2.
7. Custom A.Is are allowed as long as they do not interfere with your bots performance.
8. Please A.I yourself, I can A.I but it won't be fine-tweaked.
9. If I do A.I your bot and it loses, please no moaning!
10. You must build a bot for both game types.
11. Arena hazards will be ON.

Stock Rules:
1. All glitches are allowed.
2. Battles will be done in a reskinned Combat Arena.
3. No cheatbot2 or custom components.

DSL Rules:
1. The realistic rule is in place.
2. No cheatbot2, A.I or custom components.
3. All fighting will be done in a reskinned DSL tourny arena.

General fighting rules:
1. You will be allowed 1 havok per match. If you havok again, you will get disqualified and you will lose that match.

Signups are open until 16 entrants are received.
Black = I have your bots and they are ok.
Red = I have your bots but one/both of them are not ok.
Green = Your bot is A.Ied and ready to go!

Prizes

The winner will get the beta version of my skin pack before it gets released to the A.I team. They can also request any re-skins that they want and I will make them.


Signups will close on the 20th of July.

It doesn't matter if you don't win the DSL tournament/stock tournament. You still have the other tournament to do well in. :)

Somebody REALLY needs to make a list of maditory rules to be stated (I am not very good at that kinda stuff)

i was holding a tourney with everyone submitting a team of 3 bots.. 1 HW, 1 MW and 1 LW all of which had to be different types of robots. best of 3, LW vs LW, MW vs MW and HW vs HW.

Joe, could you help me with something? I've been getting into arena modding lately and I have made the combat arena to have no walls and when you fall off it eliminates your bot. Is there any way of making the floor of the combat arena slightly larger? At the moment it is quite small. :/

Ill go for this- the more tournaments I enter the better I will get, hopefully.

Not too bothered about stock, but I have a bot in mind.
DSL HW is more my thing- so much to choose from...

Anyways, expect my bots in a week or so.

I still only have 2 entries.

Because of the new system for tournaments, I probably won't get 16 entries and will have to go on with the amount that I have. If that does happen, I will run this in a league format. Each person will fight every other bot.

the 140 cm extender should always be allowed since it works in any game if its unlocked or not, same as the other AI parts

Would a killer DSL bot and a joke stock bot be allowed? I can't build stock and I have a couple DSL HW's ready to go. I don't want to enter and take a spot from a good stock builder with a Noobish stock bot.

MissingNo. has had a few tweaks and been sent with the Ai line, it can outwedge Seism 13 (sometimes) and R4!

Do you guys mind if the bots have my re-skins? Some of my re-skins overwrite the old components and I can't get them to work without the re-skins. They keep crashing the game.

its all I could do with lack of time to make a DSL robot and finish my Stock's AI (but the stock one will feature in my RA2INBOW team)
