I origionally was planning on posting this one into the jokes thread, but the name sounded like a good tournament name, so I decided to post it as an idea.

Tournament will be DSL LW.

Entries will be sent to me by PM, dont forget to put your username on the rar files name, example: SSG - Minesweeper (The first one that popped into mind for some reason)
You should also name your .bot files: Robot name - Robot type, like Minesweeper - FS
For easier finding.

Arena: DSL Tournament arena with no hazards. Thanks to Joe for the awesome skin. :D

The rules will be:
No BFE or AAM.
Realistic rule.
No crawlers.
No cheatbot2 or custom parts.

And additional ruels I want to make this different:
You must make the bot interchangeable, just like Iron Outlaw.(Use same chassis) You should not need to change the insides too much, I can accept things like removing/adding airtanks(if you go for poker and dont wish to waste weight on having CO2 tanks in your other bot types aswell) and slightly moving some baseplate anchors around to make it more suitable for the new bot type.
You need atleast 3 different types of the bot to enter up to a max of 6. You can choose wich type you will use for each match but that you will PM me so no-one will know wich one of your bots you are using.
Note: Subtypes dont count as different bot type if you send 2 different subtypes, like: Flail VS is the same thing as normal VS, Sawbots are counted on this too, if the saw is vertically, its a VS if its horizontally its HS.

Tounament will be held BBEANS style:
1 on 1 battles with losers bracet and a semifinalist losers rumble.

Prizes will be:
Winner: Golden Rage head decal.
Second place and rumble winners: Silver Rage head decal.
All entrants get the Black Rage head decal.

I can AI, but you better be prepared for it to suck BAD, because I will most likely copypaste an old bots AI line with minor adjustments, because I am lazy. Ask someone who you know is a good AIer if they are willing to give a helping hand.
I also cant do slpashes worth anything, so help would be nice one that field too.

Black = Said "count me in" or something like that.
Ornage = Bot recived and approved.
Green = Bot AIed and ready to RAGE ON!
When I start reciving entries, the greens and oranges take top priority over blacks.

Oh, so you mean BBEANS6. well, lets let the others say what they think and possibly decide it by voting to avoid flaming.

I seriously have no idea of what is going on... I cant get the game to start up at all.. I just copied the clean version that starts up and then DSL 2 and then DSL 2.1 and no luck. It seems like I cant start the game if there is modifications done to it o_O

Cool. I like the idea. So the chassis would have to be the same for all variations of the bot right? How would a person choose their bot type before the battle though? Would both players choose a type and hope for the best? Or does one person choose a type (because they lost a cointoss or something) and the other person chooses a type to counter it?

*Battle ensues*

Oh and I second S32s idea of using this as an opportunity to flex our DSL muscles. Though I am leaning toward MW because it would give us a bit more room to play around with. HW sounds like it would be a PITA for you to police though.

Both PM me the the bot type they wish to use to counter the unknown enemy. that way there should be more tension building up for each match. However, I am not stopping you guys to publicly announce your choice.

Allright! I got the problem solved.
Problem: resolution conflict, possibly too big? 1920 x 1080.
Solution: Run game in windowed mode in 1024 x 768.
