A new contest I thought of, SHWH(Super Heavy Weight Havoc) shall consist of Super Heavy Weights.
Rules:
1: Do the AIing yourself please because I is sh** at AIing.
2: The battles will take place in the Robot Wars Arena
3: Your bot MUST weigh over 800 kilos
4: Stock, DSL and cheatbot2 are allowed. Custom compenents are OK as long as you send me the stuff.
5: 16 bots I am looking at.
6: If your bot has a havoc explosion the match will be restarted. On the 3rd time, they will be DQed.
7: Sorry no prize, just the sastisfaction that you are better than people.

1- Are you sure you're gonna get 16 entrants?
2- "ZOMG i have a wheel in th pit! so unfair!1!1!one!"
3- SHW, logical.
4- That basically makes the thing unfair. Use either Stock or DSL.

You're pretty much new for launching a contest like that, and ACAMS have a rule about tournaments, but actually i would like to enter if this happens.

Geon, you need to run this by ACAMS, first. Any serious tourneys are good, so thanks for the efforts. But you need to check with him for timing and such...

BTW, you should also add an 'upper limit' to the bot weight.

2. Do you have WinRar?
3. Are you any good at bot building?
4. Will you finish the tourney?
5. Did you post this idea on ACAMS's tournaments thread before you posted this?

I was going to film a video with gamecam on my SHW, Fliptastic and then use pictures via WMM(Windows Movie Maker) but the game crashed. Don't know why :/

Nothing against you Geon - but you are a newbie here.

Making a tournament is serious business, i think you first need to get more RA2 experience. You know, it's some kind of weird for us seasoned builders to see a newbie that first post says "i'm making a tournament".

After being a regular member (in several months if you prove yourself worthy to us), you can start a tournament with ease.

Yeah, you should showcase your robots, too - and practice your AI/building skills.

And a SHW tournament is a real pain- but actually, i'll be glad to compete.

I am going to be posting in more topics now anyway.
I've got some better than average bots and was even going to make a pack but my sister is on the computuer most of the time and I had no time.

well i have been building some decent SHWs and i will enter with them of you definatley know how to AI cus i'm into building and skinning not AIing and i occasionally make components but there all ways crap,

in conclusion yes i'll enter if you AI for me ok Geoncide?
if u cant then i will have to ask DragonFire to AI my bot and he's already doing my ELBITE entries.

Instead of yelling at him, I'll just give advice. First, I would suggest a 2500KG weight limit, so no smart*** decides to enter the Hammer of Justice. Also, you just use DSL with no custom parts or Cheatbot2, otherwise you'd have an accurite representation of how good people are at modding, NOT bot building. You don't need a prize, a lot of tourneys don't. I've thought of a SHW tourney before, but never got around to it.

And just so everyone knows, SHWS DO NOT HAVOC. I've made like twenty and not a single one does. Ask Look at Venko's thread, he's the SHW expert. And calling Genocide a dumbass WILL NOT help. :x

I have had a havocing SHW before. It had 23 zephyr burst pistons and flew across the training ground.
Also a good idea for no HOJ.

Most Stock SHW's havok badly. I sent Borg Queen on top of the Parking Lot's scaffoldings with a havok on a battle with 3 Borg Queens and one of my SHW's.

Maybe you didn't build any havoking SHW, but since you're talking of Venko, I bet he had numerous havoks with his SHW's, and Big Chaos runs ONLY on a glitch.

The DSL only with 2500kg limit is a good idea.

Not to mention the amount of time it will take to film, upload bots, etc. I'll consider at least waiting until you get familiar with the forum a bit, so you don't get whacked by the other members (excluding ACAMS).
