Sent Megawhirl V in.  I entered this bot in another tournament a long time ago that never got off the ground.  I want to see how the Phere-style design does!

No, like the Phere from Lego Mindstorms Challenge.

Yes, it's based on the Battlebots Phere.

Hmm, maybe I'll get DSL and join up since there appears to be a lot of empty spots left.  I'll try building something over the weekend.
im just waiting for meganerdbomb to come along and kick things into gear.

Just sent mine in.  I'm entering more for fun, really, but it would be nice if I got a couple of wins.  :-D

When I have all the bots ready and AIed, have I got to wait for confirmation from ACAMS that it's okay to run it? Just a random question XD

I've read the tournament-starting rules and it says once there's interest (which there is) he'll PM me... is this stll correct? (:

ACAMS doesn't need to approve every tournament, he'll just close the ones he thinks are badly planned or won't get finished.  And I don't think you need to worry about that; this tournament looks like it could succeed.

2. No glitches, BFE, AAM, GMF swapping etc (UNLESS for realistic purposes).

This is an incredibly easy rule to exploit. I could add an extra attachment point to something, but then justify it becuase you could attach it that way in real life.
Any comments would be appreciated. :D

We have a MAXIMUM of 12 spaces left, with a minimum of 4 - if you want to be guaranteed a place, you need to be one of the 4!
Thyrus - sorry to rush you but I need that new bot in!
JB - similarly, I'd appreciate your custom bindings in soon (:

Thanks to Reier for the new logo and arena skin, btw :D
