As for videos, The event will be devided into days, I have Fraps but depending on how many people are in the tourney the vids might be split in parts are only show highlights.

I think I get this, are you going to have a map? What do the enemies look like, Can players attack each other to remove the competition?

No, I ment a map where you go along a grid with certain areas being certain arenas, and there are random enemies in areas... what you have to do is go along he map and survive as long as you can, similer to most turn based stratagys.

yeah I know that's why I said it would be cool, but for something like this a movement system would need to be worked out after all it would be a pain to have each person select were they wanted to move

we need more of a visual on how the league will work, it's important to provide pics when you start a tourney (in the first post) it also makes it look more professional.

Hmm.. Interesting. I have 1 question. So if I have joined to RPG and I have all bots (AW, BW, LW and so and so...) I pack them all to same folder?

Well in a RPG game when you don't turn into a warrior when you were a mage before, so at least have some resemblance like lets just say the weapon you use is similar like the level before. Ex. As and antweight you use a sledgehammer, BW= a type of hammer, it doesn't matter if the system is the same. So you could have a FS once then have a SNS.

it's kinda like poemon and they evolve? :S i think when you gain a lvl you should just have a bigger version of that bot cause people will just change types to suit the next challenge.

also i might have an idea for a "map" type thing. still working on it though.

yeah, here's how you could set up the "map" i put in some info of how the rpg would work to fill in space :P



you could have 2 "zones" for each lvl (provide a pic of each boss) don't forget to make the map pretty :P how the turns would work.. you could give everyone a week to decide and submit their next move.

btw i think this idea could work well with mad's weapons ect. for bosses and stuff to give them unique abilities :)

EDIT: i think when people lose 3 matches maybe then can go out for a week or something :) also make it dsl to get more life out of it (and cause i have some nice bots i can submit as bosses :D)

Ok I decided to use the map idea. The Map: A vast world folds in front of you. Get to the end of the map to win. Get to a certain square and face a boss. Each day the competitors can move 1 square. The map is split into several regions from the icy tundra to the forest.

Speaking of the forest, this is one of the monster you'll be seeing in the forest.

its completely up to you but would you like some help making splashes for the "monsters" of each region ? like one splash that has all forest monsters, etc ?

If you are going to make monsters for like water/ocean, could you consider Iku-Turso?

The only good picture I quickly found of him, its drawn by Don Rosa(the man in the picture)
Iku-Turso is a sea monster from Kalevala (just wiki if you want moar info)

Cool, But if you want a HW Popup... How are you suppoed to make a AW Popup to evolve? And Pokers, Since it need those pistons... The chasis gotta be big.
