Robot Wars YT tourney

I'm going to do a tournament where it basically starts at Robot Wars Series 1, then eventually progresses in Robot Wars Series 7. There will be some replicas, but they will be timezone accurate. There will also be bots created by me, and possibly a few pre-made bots. I've already got the Series 1 planned out, where I run a gauntlet track then something like "Sumo Basho" or something then there's the battles afterwards.

Thanks for letting me know. Also, any Series 1 reps would do. I don't care what replicas or what they're like internally, but any reps would help.

Well, it's not necessary it's just something that provides a better environment and helps me get this out faster. I don't expect people to send in reps, I'm just letting them know that they can help.

Concentrate on your Summer DSL Tournament before committing to this. You were already saying how much work you've got to do with the other one.

On an off topic note, I remember like 3 years ago I made every Series II robot and Reenacted the Series. My Grand Finalists were Panic Attack, Demon, Vercingetorix, and GBH. Vercingetorix ended up beating P.A. in the finals :P

Does anyone have a reskin of the Combat Arena or preferably the Clawtop Arena floating around I need something dark or grey to create an atmosphere for Series 1.

Both of these are very good points. I wasn't going to say anything because everything had already been said but don't assume that you will be allowed to proceed anyways. You may not start a new tournament when another one is still in progress and any form of entry requesting is prohibited in the Display Tournaments section.

Seems pretty cool.  Where did you get the gauntlet arena? 


Maybe you should set the time limit to one minute; if a bot like Spin Bonker can make it in less than a minute, then I imagine most of them can.  You can make a judgement call on distance if they don't finish.

Gauntlet is a standard map in DSL. I think you need to click on the custom mode to get it. Also, I do change it to 1:00 later on.
