I do love how Firestorm used Rick as a shield, that was absolutely brilliant. I was rooting for Firestorm, probably one of my favourite bots that I can remember from when I watched Robot Wars. Although I did have my doubts about Firestorm getting through that last match.
I was hoping Rick would go through, personally. Would have been tricky with only one flipper, though. I just didn't want Steelapocalypse to win. :gawe:

What I don't get is that Ripblade scores 250 points in KotH, Spin Scrapper scores no points at all, and spends most of the match spinning around and doing nothing significant, yet Spin Scrapper goes through and Ripblade gets eliminated.

Well, that was predictable, and I shall never conform to 'use shiny hubs because they are the best' ever again. I knew my bot had a fatal flaw that hindered invertibility, and I knew that it was down to the fact that the discs were too big (despite being the smallest size they could be) and the shiny hubs didn't give enough ground clearance, and I knew that I should've had bigger wheels, but I decided to go with the advice that is always given, and it failed me. Oh well, it was to be expected, I suppose.

Not too sure I agree with SMIDSY going out on the Judges' Decision, though. BackSlash was pushed around by Tornado and SMIDSY for pretty much the whole match, and SMIDSY definitely had control over it in the later periods, plus it had a good squaring off with Biohazard early on. Even had a few goes at Tornado.

Still, there was a silver lining in that Mr Kill did do well in the first battle, and that losing to HypnoDisc in Round 2 rather than Cheap as Chips in Round 1 isn't so bad, I guess. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with how it did, and I'll see what I can put together for Extreme 3 and Series 9.
Chaos 2's performance in the Special Fight was good, too- on a Judge's Decision between the remaining three judged until the point they all went into the Pit, I'd say it should've won.

I did like the Awards being done during the final, though, it gives it a similar feel to the actual TV series.
