Awesome, I'll be able to whip up an entry tomorrow evening then.

Gotta decide between another Steg sequel, a Behemoth upgrade, or a rear-hinged Firestorm....

Why arent' you making an updated Mazakari?

Invertible HS are kinda dull.

I did consider it, but I enjoy building flippers.

Yes. But Supernova would be a very boring upgrade. XD

My question is how can you improve it without just putting armour all over it? I mean it wouldn't have the real-life reliability issues in RA2.

Idea: for the splash, you should ask everyone to put a pic of their robot alongside its inspiration, to really highlight the "evolution" and help the IRL-ness judging.  It'll be especially helpful if you're doing an obscure-ish bot like I am.

It's not going to be a case of 'acceptance', if your bot isn't accepted then the spot given by the randomizer will be given randomly to someone who lost out.

Tried looking through the rules to see if it was mentioned but couldn't see anything, but still sorry if it's a bit of a dumb question, but are re-skinned components allowed? :3
Damn I should probably put something fancy in this bit huh?

Didn't even think about that - yes they are, as long as they are their own component (eg don't overwrite the default DSL skins) :D

Oh but of course I will be checking for stat changes if anyone tries that ;)

Funnily enough I was looking at that earlier and thinking how cool it'd be if someone tried it.

It seemed like an interesting one to try. Took a bit to get the passive sri-mech working. As long as it keeps attempting to drive, it seems to eventually right itself.
