Indeed. Although its primary weakness lies in its low battery power- once that begins to wane, the spinner becomes much less powerful.

Badnik's run much bigger display tourneys than this using pics and they've been fine.
For a full tourney then videos are needed, but for a display tourney then pics are fine, if not better as these tend to be bigger.
