Well, my old method of making 'bots that looked pretty wasn't working.

The parts were allowed, so I used them.

The only problem with that is that it will NEVER spur innovation or get people to try something knew, when they can simply follow a simple formula to make a successful bot without having to try anything new, leading to monotony and lack of creativity. And that doesn't apply to just ra2 that goes to pretty much every artistic or competitive facet of life.
