Awwww. Can't we just go with:  "Form over Funtion" ?  :D

I will laugh until I wet myself if I win a match.  Sonny's assessments of the bots are pretty much Spot-on.  Though I forsee a ton of upsets if bots end up out of the arena.  I kinda wish I had taken the time to make a flipper bot now.

Edit:
Predictions:

Cassius 2
Plunderbird
Pulverizer
Frostbite
Revolutionist
Supernova
Fluffy
Toro

You're right.  "Joke Entry" was too harsh.  I'm sorry.  Anyways, I'm flattered you predicted me.  PulverizeR has this wedge-type thing in front that makes it more difficult for opponents to get underneath.  Here's the photo I submitted for the splash in high quality.  I  encourage others to do the same:

actually, if a spinner can get around PulverizeR, it will most likely take a wheel of of it.
EDIT: fight 1 is UP!

youtube
EDIT actually it's still saving... it's taking FOREVER:pissd:

Encoding a video will take a while. It is very taxing on a computer and like Sage indicated above, it is the most painful part of hosting a tourney.  Be sure to edit out boring stuff from the match if the bots don't do anything for a long time. This will make the encoding process shorter if you have less video for it to save.

If you coordinate things, you can encode a video on your computer while you have lunch or maybe when you get ready to go to sleep. That way you don't have to sit there and wait the whole time.

This is the main reason I don't host tourneys, because my computer is ancient by todays standards.

You are learning and doing a good job though. Keep up the good work!

DC's weapon is a small disc with 2 DSL teeth. Not terribly effective at causing damage.  And I assume that Goldenfox used the toughest armour he could afford within the weight limit, which would be pretty tough stuff.

sonny to answer your question from a few pages ago, as it would have been difficult to make a shell look like the revolutionist is its an SnS with 6 NPC Fasts (from memory) however only drives with 2 (keep the drive speed realistic)

Okay. I'm assuming it must be steel.

Frostbite- Looks pretty good. It's not very sexy but probably one of the most combat worthy bots here.
The Revolutionist- Is that FBS.py or a simple SnS ? It has pretty much good weaponry, but not invertible, might be aeasy prey for the flippers.
PulverizeR- It's not bad, though i had no really good results with such a weapon.
Fluffy- Its ugly but it's going to do a lot of damage.
Cassius 2- Wedge fail. The flipper doesn't looks very convincing as well
Turbo- Probably one of the toughest entries here. Sheck spinners pwn.
Frenzy 1996- Damage fail
Supernova- It probably has a 2-Mag as weapon motor so low damage.
Odin II- Is that a HS ? Not going to be very effective as far as my experience with HS goes.
Sharkbyte- Damage potential is really low in this tournament.
Crabmeat- Nothing against Jack, but... fail.
New Cruelty- To my building standards it is a fail bot but it looks pretty decent in that competition. Probably going to end OOTA'ed by one of these ghey flippers though.
Toro- Best flipper of the competition. Nuff said.
Bigger Brother- Not as good as Toro as far as i can see. It doesn't looks as cool as well...
Last Rites- One of the most damaging bots of the competition (still i have MW HS that are better)
Plunderbird 5- That name sounds gay, but the bot's pretty cool. Don't see him much as a fighter though.
Warhead- Best HS of the competition by far. It looks great, makes good damage and if it can self right it's going to be awesome.
Destructive Criticism- I'm pretty sure Ounce's BEETLEWEIGHT XBlade 2 could beat that !
Diesector- Depending of the efficiency of the hammers, either it is going to fail either it is going to rape. Not the worst bot still.
El Diablo Grande- Is that even a replica ? Apart from the drum it doesn't looks like the bot at all.
Silverback- Bah.....

one question I have with Toro is how high does the flipper open ? is it only a small amount like the real Toro ?

and Naryar, Revolutionist is done with FBS_1.py

I forgot. I think I maxed its arc since I never knew how the real Toro performs (I based everything on still shots). And with all that weight spent on the extender work and the Techno flipper, it rarely gets high flips. But yeah, it's a replica tournament. :P
Clash Cubes 1 - Grey Matter (Runner-Up)
King of Karnage - Sideshow Freak (Runner-Up, Best Engineered)
Rust In Pieces - Paper Cut 3 (Grand Champion, Most Dangerous Bot)
Wheely Tag Tournament - Ion Thruster (Grand Champion, along with Ounces' DiSemboweLment)
UK vs USA - Dark Striker (Grand Champion)
Rust In Pieces 2 - Claymore (Runner-Up, Favourite Bot)
BBEANS 6 - Infection 4 (Runner-Up)
RA2 Team Championships - Serious Business, Skeksis (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, and Badnik)
RA2 Team Championships 2 - The Other Stig (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, Badnik, 090901, and R1885)
Replica Wars 3 - Abaddon (Runner-Up, Luckiest Bot)
BroBots - wheebot & yaybot (Runner-Up)
Robo Zone 2 - Dipper (4th place, Survival Champion, & Best Axle Bot)
ARBBC - The Covenant (3rd place, BW Rumble Winner, Most Feared BW)

the real Toro was incredibly powerful but a very tiny arc it was more like a burst piston firing upwards

if memory serves it won a SHW rumble via immobilizing every competitor

T-Minus was another good bot from there team but Matador wasnt that good  shows the competitiveness of the heavyweight class compared to others
