IRL HW
Judging will be a modified CC BattleBots style (5 aggression 5 damage 5 control) because AI doesn't have much strategy.
4 large typhoons 6 small typhoons
No offensive armor barring ramplates.
Only the irl packs found in a fresh copy of dsl 2.2 CE
Extenderbots are encouraged.
1 mech 2 micros
Bots will be accepted based on looks. I'm very lenient tho, so most bots will be accepted.

fam, that's not really an exhaustive list of rules.
Rather than GTM having a back and forth between you and the mods, as a master of running absolute ****ing sh**shows of tournaments and since i'm feeling especially autistic tonight i'll write you some more detailed rules. open this reply up in a quote, copy the formatting and then paste into the original post via editing.
Also, since I didn't want to put a note in the middle of the copying rules: you're almost certainly gonna have trouble if you have extenderbots encouraged because those are almost destined to havok and lag your game to sh**.

Realistic Robots:
Tournament Rules:
Base Rules:
Mod: DSL 2.2 CE
Custom Skins: No custom components or IRL packs bar what is included in the DSL 2.2 CE.
Meta: IRL, with fairly lenient judging on what looks cool enough to be accepted. Just... make sure you at least try to make it look nice.
Weightclass: Heavyweight (800KG).
Disqualification Criteria: If your bot uses malicious or cheating custom .pys or havoks/lags the game so much I can't record, I'll disqualify you from the tournament. If you get DQ'd for Havoks/Lag before round 1 has finished filming, you can submit an alternative entry.
Host Privilege: If there are tournament-ending or breaking issues that can't be resolved within the current ruleset, I retain the right to retroactively edit the rules and otherwise break standard procedure to resolve this with permission of the majority of the entrants and a tournament mod.
Additional building rules:
- You are limited to a maximum of 4 large typhoons OR 6 small typhoons, or 1 Mechavore disc or 2 Microvore discs.
- No mix and matching limited weapons of different sizes - you can't use 3 large typhoons and 3 small typhoons, for example, since that'll give you more total damage points than 4 large typhoons.
- No "Defensive Offence". Armor plates, ramplates and plows are obviously allowed, but using weapons as armor isn't fair or realistic.
- Extenderbots are encouraged.
- BFE, OBJRA2 and Component Freedom are all allowed if used in realistic manners that don't cause problems when recording (ie, havoks and lag).
Tournament Format and Battle Rules:
Judging: Comedy Central BattleBots style, with there being a maximum of 5 points to obtain in each category: Aggression, Damage, Control. Only a single judge, and the 5 points are split between each robot.
Arena: Robot Wars Studio 2016
Time: Matches will last 3 minutes of in-game time.
Bracket Format: Single elimination 1 v 1s.
Entrant amount: Between 8 and 16 participants, depending on how many people enter.
As I don't have a screenshot of my entry just yet, I'm not sending this to signups until I do. I will be entering however.
