Title: RA2 Trials Signups

Tournament Rules
 
1. The tourney has a Robotica-ish Bracket, 4 bots in each heat.
 
2. Two bots start off in the King of the Hill match (1:00 minute match) in the Hill Top Arena. The goal here is to get more points than your opponent.
 
3.  The second part of the heat is going to be in the Clawtop Arena with the hazards OFF. Here I'm going to make a pushbot (it ain't going to be a hard to beat bot) and the 2 bots will be a team against the pushbot, the goal here is to get the most points in the battle by damaging the bot (pretty much a 2 vs 1 match). The amount of points you get will be added to the points you've obtained in the King of The Hill match (this part is also gonna be 1:00) the bot with the most points makes it to the heat final (if there's a tie, both bots will go to the heat final). If you destroy the trialbot, the decision will still depend on points. One more thing, If you fall off the platform, you will be automatically eliminated.
 
4. Then the heat will end up with 2 bots, those 2 will fight it out in the fight to the finish arena (I found it here a while ago) and here's how it works; two bots start high above on the platform and they will fight it out for 3 minutes and the bot that gets destroyed, immobilized, or pushed out will be eliminated and the winner will go to the finals.

Rules:
1. DSL Middleweight
2. Realistic Rule Applies.
3. No cheatbot2 or custom components.
4. No SnSs (won't do good in the KoTH part anyways).
5. No crawlers.
6. Please AI your own bots, if you can't then I will AI the bots (if anyone's willing to help me with AIing, that would be awsome).
7.NO WHINING ABOUT THE BOT AI BEING SCREWY UNLESS THERE IS BELIEVABLE EVIDENCE AND NOT SOMETHING STUPID (I think we all know why this rule was added).
8. Multibots are NOT allowed (due to the fact that if there's a tie).
9. No havok prone bots.
10. No AAM or BFE.
11. No flamethrowers.
12. Only bot types allowed are Horizontal Spinners, Rammers, Face Spinners, Axes, Drums (small discs in rows are acceptable), Pokers, and Lifters (NOT FLIPPERS) By lifters, something like Sentinel (stock version).

Red - There's a problem

Well everyone, my game doesn't work, I try to access one of my teams and the game just shuts down on me =P

If anyone knows why, I made a topic on the "Technical Support" board, I need to fix this cause then I won't be able to AI any of the bots.

Well, it turns out that the teams file only works when I take out the tourney AI, and the AI teams work fine...can someone tell me how is that possible.
 
EDIT: Well, seeing that I found a way to AI it, you can send me more bots now.

Alsp, 'nother question about the rules; does a bunch of small, vertically-mounted discs in a row count as a "drum"? like this:

If nobody manages to make a bot for 1 April, The tourney cant start with 2 peeps, Right?

What happens if, in the second challenge, the trialbot falls off and then you fall off?  I assume you still get your points counted?

To everyone, I had to remake Trialbot after my laptop's hardrive burned up (I lost most of my robots), its not completely the same but I came really close.

It's just the same bot with a tiny change to the armour configuration, but I did send you the old version by mistake. If you allow me to change it, then I'll send you AI with it, if not, send me the old bot back, and in about 2 mins, you'll have the AI line.

What I meant to say is that your I have just accepted your bot, my english can get messy sometimes (its my second language).
 
And as for the Robot Wars Wiki thing, I pretty much added some info on a few robots that competed in season 2 of RWEW.

I am still wondering what design to use.

Edit: Is a Razorback v2-style design (wammer/weaponed flipper hybrid) is OK for that ? I was thinking of entering Razorback v3.

The current version of Trialbot, its more flippable now and easier to damage.

Naryar-Hmm, that actually isn't a bad idea, tho I'll have to send them as a bot pack cause the AI makes the game crash when you go to check your teams.

changed the armour to steel 3 and extenders to aluminium. it is now 398.8kg
the old set up was titanium extenders and aluminium 5.it was 400kg.

Side hammers are technically hammers so yes, they're allowed.
 
Also, I'm planning on making a video showing the entries instead of a splash once I get all of the entries. The vid will be on youtube and it will also available for download for people who can't see youtube vids.

It just doesn't seem right, and I don't think I can do that since I already made the signups for 16 people and to have byes I needed to add a deadline, which I know I can't do. So I rather wait till the spaces are full.
