no it won't, some people aren't willing to be fodder when they put in effort to give players something like tournaments to enjoy. There's no need for it, it's pointless bullying and I won't stand for it... ever.

Ianh, I don't care about how much you are butthurt over subjectivity, but I'll redirect you to Rock Paper Shotgun, Errant Signal, Extra Credits and Total Halibut. They all are more qualified than you or I. Read, Watch, gain enlightenment.

Back to topic:

Half the goddamn tournies nowadays are pointless gimmicks, but this is the first one that transcends stupid into almost maliciously dumb.

RA2 olympics? Jesus.

Noobwarz, KoK, See no evil and were mostly okay because it was mainly in-game gimmickry that was acceptable.

ELBITE and Annihilator was bracket gimmickry.

This? RA2 Olympics is the least imaginative tournament I've ever seen. I tolerate the bad gimmick tourneys because they have a little inspiration. This has none. If you are going to go for a gimmick, at least try. At least come up with something original.

Hell, I think someone already did this. Massimov just slapped "Ra2 Olympics" as a name at some stupid, bandwagoning grasp at getting attention. Screw this tourney, screw the host and screw anyone who would have made this if Massimov didn't.

annihilatior (still cannot spell) actually had 0 originality because i inadvertently ripped off total annihilation

after war of the giants im just going to run a simple stock mw 16 bot double elimination tourney in [some arena] with no gimmick or any special rules, kind of like the thing scrap is trying to do but he still needs a arena made so that is at a standstill

but yeah now that i look at it this is just the host running 4 8 bot tournies at a time, its fine and all just not exactly "original"

Actually Robot wars: Arenas Of Destruction had a tourney exactly the same as yours.

At least it wasn't too gimmicky, to be fair.

It's not a gimmick, that implies some sort of actual effectual catch on how you build. It's more of a theme than anything :P
