I think the idea is so that the seeding is based on the bot, not the popularity of the person who made the bot.

i dont want to tell name of builders until after seeding is done so that way if you have a grudge against the builder you cant single him out

Better Idea:
Have people make a list of the bots 1-16 for seeding, it will take less time and be easier to do that running a poll everyday.

well it is going to be paired up with another entry so it cant be bad or else that person will complain
it wasnt made as a bye bot though it was made to compete in helloface's tourney so i made it good

it will be teamed with another bot from someone else if i made a bad bot someone would be stuck with the worst bot
because of how the tourney works it cant be bad

My competitor opinions:

A flash flood of color: The skin ain't too good looking IMO, but I have high expectations for this one.
Anti Gravity: BEEFCAKE! BEEFCAAAKE!
Black Dynamite: "I'm blackity-black, I'm black ya'll!"
The Blood Great White: I love the look of this design. Could go far.
Dystopian: Awkward yet interesting looking design.
Eternia: Screw Long-Cat, we've now got Long-Panic Attack!
Gatorbot: Gators are a type of Predator, and so is this bot.
Homicidal Intentions: I wonder what the weapon is. Some sort of Pop-up?
Leveller's Friend:Looks more like Gravity, IMO.
Maybe I did: #TRYHARD.
Molecule: I remember you from the Father and Son Tournament!
Rampart: It looks like the hippie version of St.Agro/Maelstrom.
Rust Spawn: Not sure if it's adorable or absolutely horrifying...
Skeleton: The weapon looks too high to reach other robots. Still, looks epic.
Snugglebot Gold: It sure as hell doesn't LOOK like it wants to snuggle!

can you list them from 1 - 16 so it helps seeding
also some of these bots have great flaws in them but you dont know the weight spinning direction builder you dont know anything so maybe one you think is good has a flaw

Rankings & Predictions:
1. Gatorbot - Clearly the best looking bot here. Might win a fight or two.
2. Snugglebot Gold - I really like this bot, especially the wheel guards.
3. A Flash Flood Of Color - Stupid name but quite a good bot. Simple and clean. It should go far.
4. The Bloody Great White - Messy but overall not bad. Should win a couple.
5. Eternia - Messy as hell. I'm ranking it high anyways because a noob with potential probably built it. If it was cleaner it would be a nice bot.
6. Rust Spawn - I like and hate this bot at the same time. It's a concussion wammer which I hate, but it looks unique. Probably would win if it weren't for so many flippers.
7. Skeleton - I hate to vote my bot this high, but I like it. It will do good until it reaches a flipper.
8. nice shoes - A little bit tryhard but not too bad.
9. Molecule - Generic, but at least it's not messy. It'll do good.
10. Maybe I Did - Messy, messy, messy.
11. Black Dynam8 - 2sppedy4me
12. Rampart - What are you even doing with that skin. It looks terrible. Probably an OP noobish flipper but it's not too bad as far as noobish bots go.
13. Return Of The SWWDS - It's tryhard IRL. Looks awful. Unfortunately going to go far.
14. Leveller's Friend - It's so gross.
15. Homicidal Intentions - Lol'd.  :SFTW
16. Anti Gravity - I hope this thing gets crushed into a tiny box, thrown into the world's hottest volcano, nuked with a bomb the size of North America, then burned eternally by a supernova. It's absolutely terrible. Ghey wedges, weird chassis shape,  and beater-spammed flipper. I'm sorry, but it's just so tryhard and awful. It's obviously made to win.

Also, it looks nothing like a gator.  :gawe: I just entered Gatorphilia into a tournament elsewhere. It sucked and lost hardcore, but it was way more gator-like.

thats fine but you should seed on combat ability
so that way the best robot gets paired with the worst robot
also rfs you shouldnt rank dystopian 16 just because its bye i didnt make it bad so if it got teamed with TBGW that team would do very well
also all bots entered into this tournament for any future tournaments i host are not allowed to be entered again without extensive changes

Why put in a good bot as a bye, that just ends up screwing people out of the tournament. It's almost like you have two entries.

Considering the nature of the robots I've been building I'm not familiar with either category so my best guess is "both". :gawe: If memory serves me right that Overkill wedge is near-indestructible, so that would give 09's bot an edge. Or maybe it was the Tornado ramp. Or the Vlad one. :( The bots toward the bottom of the list were put there because they were lacking armor, not so much that they're inherently bad designs. Eternia has what appears to be plexiglass, and Homicidal Intentions and Rampart both appear to be armorless. I am not familiar with how much damage the Techno Destructo spikes do, so Gatorbot didn't get top billing there either.

Also I like the way Shark looks so I stuck it at the top because it has a lot of weapons and it looks pretty organized. I am aware that a similar robot lost in the first round of the RA2 Trials 4 tournament though.

Why thanks for the complement,el chickenado there's no point saying not to say what your bot is because I've showcased it :V anyway yes, the MW in the trials was Sharkbite, one of my best middleweights ever :D but yeah it lost to a standard bot, since it was a standard tourneyand Sharkbite was IRL, don't hurt me

I get the idea but I agree with you. I mean like I haven't even showcased mine but it's not hard to figure out seeming as all y bots generally have something to do with Science and Elements for names. Not to ention the fact that I've entered it in other tournaments xD

Yeah, it's overkill. Overkill wedge is the mother of all wedges. Very wedgy and near indestructible.

Homicidal Intentions actually has quite good armour as there isn't much weight going to anything else.

probably not but i wanted to build an irl bot that could kill it's opponents with flipping. it doesn't work like's it's supposed to, but it can toss bots pretty high.

it doesn't havok, however i AI'd it and found that it will sometimes randomly flip several times for no reason so...

For the camera you could use the action cam Massimo uses for battlebots, same thing I used for MIs. You don't need to move the camera then. :thumbup

You install it, and (I think) you press f3 and f4 to activate it. I think it comes with instructions once you download it IIRC.

I don't think anyone did! I make sure that when I want to make a rambot, I keep the wheels as low to the ground as possible whilst still having proper maneuverable traction. I love bots like Storm 2, Tornado, etc. so I thought I'd make a heavily amoured bot of my own.

I honestly think that if i was with a different bot i would do better. Snugglebot wasnt the best partner. Something that was highly damaging to accompany a barely able to damage robot.

I think it was just highly unlucky that you two lost because you were a pretty good team. Either that or you got bested by a much superior team... Probably the latter.
