No BFE/AAM
No Cheatbot2 Parts. Anything found in a clean copy of DSL without using cheatbot2 is fine.
All in game glitches allowed as long as they abide to the realistic rule.
I can AI if you really need me to, but i'd suggest doing it yourself if you can.
Bots get one free Havok restart per match, if they Havok again the robot is disqualified.
3 minute long matches. If robots are still alive at the end of the match I will decide on points
Best out of three
16 robots, standard double bracket.

The fun part for this tourney is that before you build your robot. Everyone chucks a robot type into a virtual hat. (HS/VS/Popup etc). When I have all spaces filled one robot type from the pot will be given out to each person and they will have to build that type of robot. I will also throw a curveball into the mix by assigning an extra type to one person. Multibot. Just to mix things up.

Example; say it were a small 4 robot bracket:

• Jeff enters and selects HS
• Bob enters and selects Vs
• Tim enters and selects Rammer
• Charles enters and selects Popup

Shuffling of robot types...

• Jeff has to build a Rammer *Multibot*
• Bob has to build a Popup
• Tim has to build a Hs
• Charles has to build a VS

I would also try and have backups. Incase someone gets trapped by real life or something.
I am not sure what arena to do this in. If I say combat arena, people will obviously go "Flipper "
Bbeans arena? Blade arena with hazards off? I'm not sure.

What about using the same random selection system that you use for bot types for the arena as well ? Everyone selects an arena, then you choose randomly.

He'd need to make sure he had the arena available. Or he could provide a list of arenas to choose from.

Or if someone suggests an arena I can't personally find easily. They'd have to find a download link for me before it is added to the pot. There would probably be a list of banned arenas though like seizure arena, infinite arena etc

I know, but I like to think people would think about if they have the time/effort to make the robot before signing up to this as not to waste my time.

I'd also have a backup brigade who would jump in if anybody had to pull out, or if someone didn't get a robot in the backup brigade would have a week or so after the normal deadline to get the backup robot in.

It just takes a while and you'll need to do a lot of PM'bombing :P

How much pmbombing do you have to do in Ra2tc vertigo?
You keep the robot types quite open, this is going to narrow the robot types down even further so I suspect that a few people may be put off when they find out the have to make a clamp robot or something.

Oh and RJPK, maybe, depends how well this one goes :P
