Okay then, contestant summary:

259000: Not bad, it may do well, as well as it doesn't get flipped.

Brutus Maximus 2: I don't think Brutus Maximus originally was looking like that, I don't know how far it'll go.

Ceros II: Good bot, just a lazy rename, It may go far.

Chaos 3: I don't think Chaos 2 was destroyed in it's last fight. I just think it's OK. Can't really say how far it'll go.

Deathstar: I'm not sure myself how well it'll do.

Hammerhead 3: It's a good design, just not the best skin. May do pretty well.

Killer Carrot 3: It looks good. It has a good shot.

The Killer Rabbit: I imagine this would be a joke bot. It looks good I will say.

Maelstrom: That looks way too small to do well.

Nightmare 6.0: It looks nice, a flipper may take it out though, but then again, it's Nightmare.

Revenge of Hippobotamus: This is probably another joke bot. Solid job making it a hippobotamus replica.

Short Circuit 2: That looks a bit light for this tournament.

Shrike Spawn: A little too messy for my taste. Can't say the same about the performace in this tournament.

Son of Robogeddon: Nice job, maybe the flippers are a bit fragile, yet that could surprise me if that means nothing if it goes far.

V.D. Stealth: I could imagine the big weapon motor being a havok bomb when it fights.

Widow's Avenger: I wouldn't be surprised if this bot beats me in the first round. It still looks good.

fudge, I see a few bots that I might be able to pull off an upset against, but 259 is not one of them.

I think I'll beat Sonny in Round One, aside from that it's hard to tell what'll happen. So many flippers and my wedges aren't that good.

lmao Sonny's bot is beautiful

I feel pretty confident in my entry's chances as long as I don't run into Akshaylan's thing. Glad there aren't any HS either (no, that chewblade on Short Circuit doesn't count)

Anyways, good lineup. Since I'm a biased fanboy, I'm rooting for Nightmare 6.0. Looks destructively beautiful, long as it has a good motor should stand a good chance at winning. Only real issue are the flippers.

It's almost like Challonge knew that the jokebots had no chance against the vertical spinners. 259000 is fighting The Killer Rabbit too. Whereas I get the invertible rammer. :ermm:

Right, I know the rule is '1 havok restart, 2nd eliminated', but I've never seen it put into effect.

I am very close to having to disqualify Camaro Kid. Maelstrom's flipper design means that if even one flippermaker breaks (very easily done), then it will havok at some point in the battle.

This is an absolute shambles, I can't even run my own tournament right. Next one is having NO cheatbot components, I think....

I don't think I can just allow changes to a robot midway though a tournament...
The havok rules were there, if he wanted to build a ticking havok time bomb, he should have known the risks....

Second grudge match is up, but fatigue has caught up with me and I'm calling it a night far sooner than I wanted to.

I will upload more grudge matches on Monday and Tuesday if I get sufficient demand, then might put up an awards thread.

Unbeknownst to many of you, I've been in hospital since Tuesday morning and therefore unable to finish the grudge matches. I won't be home until midway through next week, so is anyone fussed if the grudges don't get finished? Would I lose host points or anything for shutting up shop now?
