Then - "paper armour" 40 

Messing around with the armour strength and shine is the everything I can do with a BFE, once I tried to mess with other stuff, but I screwed up the bot file. So yes, I will BFE the armours and make them twice weaker (the weight and the skins are preserved) as follows :
Plastic         80 > 40
Aluminium 100 > 50
Titanium    150 > 75
Steel         175 > 87,5
DSA           200 > 100

Do you all think, that the NORMIES must be nerfed at general? Since this is a fun tournament, not a serious one, and I must encourage somehow the FREAKS building too. I'm open for ideas of how to encourage.

I would just do 2 different brackets, and do fights between a freak and a standard bot as requested.

Or if you don't have the time, give a weight advantage to freaks, and then ban standard crawlers so they do not dominate the competition.

Did you even check out the arena?
With a lame grip, they will just bumple around and fall easily OOTA, or they will just be flipped easily over the walls.
Even the bye bot can humiliate a crawler in 1 s on this arena, I tested this...
Plus, the main idea of this tournament was, that the EVERY bot type on this world to be able to enter and fit in to the one of the 2 main categories, and I will keep it.

Wrong. Feel free to offer an arena, that is "kind" to ALL bot types. I think, that this one is the most close to a such.
Wedges will probably dominate this.
You are wrong again, due to the lack of testing, which I did... Feel free to enter with a wedge bot, but don't complain later, when you don't get the texture pack for your DSL bots

It's funny... As far as Freak-bots go, not all the entries are required to be combat efficient.

Yes for standard but not half-crawlers their wheels will make them harder to OOTA by giving them moar grip
