Well, I guess since most of you don't find the No Mind Devastation tournament to be one you don't want to compete in, I'll host it myself, and post results here.
Statistics
> all WS are built in Stock Unrealistic, DSL IRL, or Ironforge IRL.
> No cheat components are used.
> The WS are from ALL weight classes.
> Interested in joining? PM me so I can host a public WS tournament again.
> I will use different arenas, but mainly the Robot Wars, combat, and DSL tournament arenas.
> There will be rumbles, team-ups, and deathmatches.
> I will post updates on how the fights wind up.

Just saying that #1 is not a Wandering spinner

Just saying that #1 is not a Wandering spinner
Oh, it is. It drives straight (eventually), bounces off walls, and falls under the classification of a Drum/disk WS.

Iirc you stated in your "tutorial" that WS must have only one motor, this bot beats that purpose

Okay. Here are the rules.
there are 2 WS categories.
Basic
> have one wheel
> sport a shell, full-body, or cage spinner.
> no more than 1 drive motor.
> mainly have 1-4 spinners.
Drum/disk
> have disks or drums for drive
> have 1-6 drum wheels
> have more than 1 drive motor.
> FS Wandering Spinners can exist in this class.
> have 1-6 or more spinners

Look youre just inventing something that has been made years and years ago

are you just making up what wondering spinners are as you go?
it first had 1 drive motor and 1 wheel now your just making a standard bot with standard motor setup but using drums or disks for wheels and calling it a wondering spinner when it clearing isnt designed to bounce off walls and it has controlled movement just that it sucks for traction.
if your defining wondering spinner as something that can bounce off walls then you have just covered every bot ever made that has bad wiring or loses a wheel.

Or any slightly-unbalanced overhead spinner

Nope. WS are a lot more effective than they look as I told you numerous times before.
I already told you the rules and everything you need to know.
Wandering Spinners are basically robots that move around on their own. You just activate the switch- they're off. No more need to even touch your keyboard.

is this irl or dsl-s
-
IRL mostly.

IRL mostly.
It can’t be IRL “mostly”, it MUST be one or the other.
-
IRL.

ok where to start hmmm
You have said 3 different rules for a WS
you also cant make an IRL WS as it will have no controlled movement which automatically makes it non IRL (goto a tournament and enter something you have no control over and you will be instantly banned).
you have by default not made a wondering spinner if it has more then one drive motor as A) its just a regular bot that has no control b) isnt actually a spinner its just a poorly wired and driven bot and C) it doesnt "wonder" around the arena it just drives into the same wall repeatedly until something hits it to turn it.
i was all for the hockey puck 1wd spinner as a novelty now your just trying claim its IRL and can have more then one motor just makes it poorly driven bots thats claiming to be something its not.

Since my public tournament wasn't a success this time, I'll try a public one another time. Stay tuned.

Cat's Eyes has joined the tournament.

NOTE- Rebel has a 50% chance of making it into the tournament.
-
Rebel is NOT in the torunament. 5 more WS (will be pictured later) are finished and in the tournament.
NOTE- There is a house robot in some of these WS fights. It will play by the rules of an original house robot in Robot Wars, and will not participate as an entrant.
-
golly gee i hope the house bot is a wandering spinner too

what about my bots?
I decided to save them for a public tournament.
There will be another public NMD tournament for members other than me to compete in.
I just want to see how this first one turns out before I add in bots made from other members.
Don't worry. I will fight your bots sometime.
