Title: Next Rust In Pieces - Rust In More Pieces

So RIP2 has now been completed, and I feel a'ready for some more fun. But there are 2 ways we can go.

1) Rust In More Pieces (a bit like Robot Wars Extreme, no real winner just a pile of different events using bots from the first 2 RIP, includes Grudge Matches, Tag Team, Winner's Tournament, Rumbles etc)
2) Rust In Pieces 3 (Will be DSL, but an undecided weight class - would probably not be an official weight class but rather have a weight limit, to make things interesting)

So yeah, let me know what you guys think on the poll (which will pop up after I've written this) and the thread itself.

It will come, just not nearly as fast. Also, must mention Rust In More Pieces wouldn't affect the global rankings. Just cos it's not an 'official' event.

if funny I planned out a full CC side event like what your intentions are with R.I.M.P back when starting CC3

it probably wont see the light of day any time soon if ever as my next touranamnet plan is a Backlash one

Aha, I had wondered why it hadn't been done before.
I made a possible layout for it today and it would have around 6 events I think, ending up with around 30 videos in total.
Some of my plans have been seen in the other thread but they've been updated now... and it's gonna be kept under wraps how I would do it.
Just in case. :P

Exactly. I like DSL, RIP has always been DSL, it's never not going to be DSL unless some weird movement happens and it moves to a different mod. But no stock.

I started RIP because there were a lack of DSL tourneys, and now I just enjoy running them, I ain't gonna stop the way they're run just cos the Stock well has dried out for a bit.

Well I just noticed voting closed. RIP3 came out on top, but RIMP was one behind.
To settle this epic closeness, I shall use the Randomizer! Gotta love the Randomizer.
The first thing that comes up will be the tournament used.
Obv there are 14 rimps, 15 RIP3's and a neither. :P

You won't find out until the videos/brackets period if it IS in any events (it's probably going to be more RIP2 concentrated).
Signups will be where people can, well, sign-up to those events that need people to do so (eg Grudge Matches, Tag Team).

Well we know what to do now then. Everyone enter all of the tournaments in the signups to make space! Especially the stock ones, they have nobody competing XD. I mean we could probably fill up tourneys like Lucky 7, ELBITE, ROBONOVA 2, The Winds of Change ;) and make space.

Well partially Nary.

I will choose some bots for some events, like bot-specific rumbles (eg flipper-fest or whatever) and Winner's Tournament (The entrants are obviously pre-decided).

You will be able to sign up for Grudge Matches (This is what involves bots from BOTH RIPs, but not mixed.), Tag Team Tournament, and the Wildcard Tournament (if your bot did bad in RIP2 - winner gets auto-entry in RIP3) as well as anything else I think of between now and then. Possibly a small 'Update Tournament' where people can submit newer, better versions of RIP1 bots to see how they do against other new version.

Kinda want a grudge match with Urjak from RIP2. I felt I got screwed because I got the first flip but he just went straight up in the air. XD

Does the other person have to sign up too, along with things like teaming up for Tag Team, etc. Or for tag team, will the bots just be randomly teamed?

There`s may a possibility to match 3 MW against 1 SHW. Someone *cough* needs to change something in the .exe for this I guess?

Okay guys, I know the poll has barely been open for 12 hours, but let's not stand in the way of progression.

The Electric Arena 2 has been chosen to be part of RIMP, but a few surprise arenas may pop up along the way ;)

All matches have been laid down on a word doc, and I promise there will be matches that all can enter. Even those who haven't ever entered in a RIP Tournament.

In total, this megaseries will have a total of 36 matches, if all places and possibilities are filled. Maybe even more if people suggest good stuff when I get the list out.
