Rumble 4 - Blue Thunder vs Mr Claws vs AMB vs The Cage (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBVbxdrHGrI)
We get a bit of flipping action in this fight from BT, which is a nice change from blah last match. AMB has some decent pushing power with HPZ drive, will it be enough to push some people in a pit? The Cage has a decent weapon. MC does too, but it's so frontheavy it can barley move.
Mr Claws wins without touching one bot!! XD BT and TC are pitted. AMB is pitted too in a way that makes Immense One's pitting look heroic.
Rumble 3 - F-l-i-p vs Spikey vs Mr Spinny Disc vs Lightning Bolt (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mwYpU7CfmLw)
Ok...all are kinda bad. LB is probably the best with 2 spike strips as popup weapons. F-l-i-p's flippers are far back, hard to get leverage that way. Whnever Spikey Fires his pick, his chassis flies up in the air. Mr Spinny disk has the most damaging weapon, but has a chassis the size of Jupiter. It'll all come down to who can stay out of he pits.
Spikey wins. LB is immobilized, F-l-i-p and MSD are pitted.
Rumble 2 - Fortress vs Klavier vs Whirlybird 2 vs victor (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yqFFuZdLeig)
Powerful SNS/HS vs Cool but wimpy Wammer vs Wimpy HS vs Wimpy Flipper. Seems Like ACAMS has his one in the bag, exept for one thing: instability. If ACAMS gets near a flipper or hits a bot, he goes flying. But if he can destroy the wimpinators he will pull of an easy win.
Whirlybird 2 wins. Klavier and Fortress are pitted (see, I told you) and victor loses by points but lives.
Rumble 1 - Boss vs CRAZY WHEELIE SAWBOT vs How my Razors Taste vs JAWS (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eVzdScUeSHg)
Boss is fast and powerful, maybe he can push his opponents into the pits? CWS has...saws which stink obviously, but if you have enough they can be deadly... HMRT has a decent weapon, but it's kinda low to the ground- lessening damage. Finally JAWS has a decent drivetrain with 2 HPZs but has a wimpy weapon. All have their Pros and Cons.
JAWS wins. All others are pitted. :S
Wildcard - AMB vs GTO vs Immense One vs Hellkinght (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVfebh4RnkQ)
IO is undoubtedly the most powerful bot in this match, but has a large chassis (don't we all?) which could be hit quite easily. ...Then again so do all the other bots... =S Dunno, just watch it.
Just a word of warning: The pits in this arena are hungry. Very. Moreso than CC2.
AMB wins. GTO and HK are immobilized, IO is pitted.

No, he has just reskinned his stock plows into that, so all stock plows look like that in his game.

1. Crazy Wheelie Saw bot: looks very lethal, Might take Round 1:evil:.
2: How My Razor's Taste: well protected with the plows and good weaponary, I hoped to win First round but The Saw bot is crazy lookin:smiley:.
3: Fortress looks pretty good should do well
4:Victor looks like a really good flipper, possibly might take the tourney we will see;).Edit: whoops I actually can't tell what Victor is but I don't think its a flipper.
5: Blue thunder another good flipper should do well.Edit: I missed Ribbs flipper, also a really good one prolly the best in the Tourney we will have to wait and see ;D

Crazy Wheelie Sawbot is over rated imo. No traction so it'll end up pitting itself or falling on the flippers.

Wow I can't believe I lasted that long! I thought JB's bot would totally shread me to pieces. Then when that bot went into the pit and 40757's bot flipped, I'm like, "Yay! I'm gonna win!". But then I figured out that my bot didn't have wheels anymore and I got counted out first. :( oh well

Well, my bot does have sluggish turning, but if the enemy is in front, it wont have a chance since it is invertible and the saw motors are wired to the Drive analogs to help forward movement, I quess I should have set them to help turning too...
Oh well, its its n00b tournament so mistakes happen!

I lost after dominating my match before the pit ate my bot :P but I dont really care so much, its still a fun tournament despite not even making it into the main bracket

yeah it seems to be a growing trend, the CC3 brackets I have planned right now involves some rumbles but it will depend on numbers and weather people like the idea I have in mind as to if I do it

I think he's refering to the fact those two kinds of bots wear themselves out, power and weapon-wise.
So you have to build something efficient for rumbles - it gives out much more damage then it takes.

I only just got the time to watch the videos and I must say, I had my doubts on how entertaining a bunch of old robots would be but they do put on a good show :-D notice how the best robots keep going out at the point they are dominating the match :P

This is what happens with the pits. All of those bots fall in and we end up with a champion that can't even beat the mighty SFTW.
Atleast we weren't exactly trying to. But some of the other bots would of stood a chance.

Awesome. I won't miss out next time!
I like how this tournament is set up as single-elimination rumbles, so you can get it done really fast. Helps the "just-for-a-laugh" mood and eases some of the usual tension associated with tournaments.
And I bet JAWS could have beat SFTW if the saw was spinning downwards... though hammers ARE surprisingly ineffective against it, because of the tall chassis. You try fighting SFTW with a LW hammer sometime. Not as easy as you'd think.

It took several tries for me to beat SFTW with Flaying Mantis (the bot the SC4 Jubjub Bird is based off of). The bot pushes itself up whenever it hits SFTW, and tips over backwards.

She's my sister. Not around very much at all, and not exactly what you call an RA2 person.
