They're if they competed in previous tourneys, so NW1 gets a one, etc. Yellow = champ, silver = runner up.

I forgot yours and Ounces though >:O

Besides me, the only others who have competed in all NWs are nerd500, Scrap, and Natef.

Fight 1: Dent has almost no weaponry and will get flipped or KO'd easily. Wedge of doom and Muida seem to lack damage potential. The Dark Lord will rape here just as this classic piston design does against stock AI.


Fight 2: Das Machine and Der Maulworf seem to be doomed here, but either could topple my lumbering machine. If I can get a head on charge on Ounce, I could knock it into the air and maybe KO it. However most likely, he will KO the others before taking off one of my support legs/wheels leading to TKO or KO. Dagger to win.


Fight 3: Mr.Cheese may be able to topple any bot here, rendering them out (although LU-Bot is invertible sort-of) but will easily we out-scored or killed. Judging by weaponry C.R.U.M.P.L.E would win but I think the lack of invertibility on it and Omega will put LU-Bot through.


Fight 4: The wedgenator might win, if it can topple its opposition but it itself is prone to getting stranded. The Cruncher lack damage capability and so would only win by having the best drive and so out-pushing the others. Either Jonzu will win through some sort of damage or Badnik could ko something with those spikes, but no idea what they are mounted on. My gut tells me Jonzu will win simply as it can both wedge under the opposition and self-right (I think).


Fight 5: Cuteo and Kaoss Too will just get stuck or KO'd though Kaoss might take another bot with it. Out of the other two, Blademaster seems more damaging and so should win unless it suicides off another bot.


Fight 6: Vroom is just dead here really. No American Samoa, despite being terrible might cause quite a problem for slower bot. However we have WARHAMMER in this and so American Samoa will be toppled. I think it could go either way between Killer and WARHAMMER, if Killer survives it will win on damage, but WARHAMMER's drive may push it to victory.


Fight 7: Balasto can't so any damage really along with the Morgue. GF's bot looks the most powerful and maneuverablebut since Reier's bot can self-right it should win on damage points, but who know could go either way.

Fight 8: If Bot-Clean Up flips Bloody mess, then thing change a lot. With the spinner out of the way it will be FS+Spikes+Hammers vs Just Hammers. VB to win unless Bloody mess somehow stays upright and mobile.

All right, I've got Hard Bot, which I'm going to flip for the honour of Anime, and Sonny- hopefully I should be able to see both of them off with little trouble, depending on how well The Morgue can roll over. If it can, it might take a few tries, but the angle connectors should break off with a few good flips.

Three Blade might be a problem though, depending on its self-righting capabilities, but it's got a high ground clearance and flat sides. Hopefully I can either flip it, or ram it into oblivion with my spikes.

Also, n00b bot award goes to Kurt Wylde (who else ?) unless I am mistaken on the working of the thing. Even if it's a leapfrog bot it's pretty awful.

really wish i had entered this, anyone that has seen my showcase would know that my first bot had enough battery power for 3 or 4 hws and was generally terrible

I'm somewhat worried about R0B0 too. The only way I'm going to beat him is if I mount the robot, take off the weapon, and let it drive off with me on top. The other two I'm not so worried about. Vrooom will try to flip me, but will run into my anti-flip spikes as I eventually come back down and rip off everything it holds dear. As for American Samoa, it'll turn into a hockey puck within 30 seconds.

Hahahaha that was great. These were my thoughts as the match went on:

1. Ounce is gonna win this
2. Whoa Dagger is sloooooow...
3. Radiation II is overpowered.
4. HOLY SFTW ITS SMALL WEDGES FLIP TOO HOW COULD REIER ACCEPT THAT ENTRY
5. I guess Ounce won't win this after all. The pistons aren't even firing, but how come it seems like it's not taking any damage in its health bar at all? Jonzu's bot is slaughering it.
6. Whoa Dagger was like "ACTIVATE RAPID FIRE PISTON MODE" and just killed Jonzu's bot. Hilarious.
7. And Thyrus and Conraa are stuck. I didn't even watch them in the fight; what weapon does Das Machine even have? *watches match again* Edit: Haha Conraa's bot was actually doing so well until it randomly got stuck on top of Thyrus's. xD

Edit: Reier you used Jonzu's Radiation II instead of S_M's Radiationer II like it says in the brackets. :o

Match 6: Wait a second, wasn't that broken component in the Electric Arena issue fixed in the 1.2 patch (I'm being rhetorical, I already know it was)? Not as random as the troll face in one of the previous rounds but still highly unexpected... (To get everything working right, the 1.2 patch should have been applied before the 1.3 patch)

Match 7: three blade must be packed full of batteries. After three minutes of firing 3 DDTs and driving around on two wheels, it still had 3/4 of its battery left.

More to do with you helping him back up after I'd flipped him. Had you not done that, he'd have gone out, instead, and regardless, I'd have won anyway without you having that spikey bar thing. Although, I did demonstrate the rollcage a couple of times whilst I was in there, got some good flips in, and I did get rid of Hard Bot, which I hoped I'd do.
I'm just annoyed that again, I fell victim to this pattern I always seem to have for tournaments revolving around rumbles- dominate the fight, and then die right at the end to some lucky smegger in ridiculous circumstances.
